Odd situation then. Most leagues have membership agreements that allow them to make league-wide decisions on broadcast rights.DJBlu wrote: ↑Tue Feb 14, 2023 3:02 pmThe current deal expires at the end of this season. I would imagine the club can make more out of it as the profits are, I believe, currently distributed evenly throughout the league.
Each club is within its rights to create their own channel. There are a fair few that do so already, Peterborough United being one. I do believe they have to open up access to the live feed for away teams that visit. Like us at the weekend, iFollow badged up the feed from Peterborough.
I we are free to bugger off then we probably should.
Posh+ appears to offer reserve games, which is something I'd watch for us.
I had assumed that the club tv channels just incorporated iFollow fees into the subscription services - hence why they all charge identical fees for games. If they've just not had to sign up to a unified agreement then great.

I believe the league still holds the right to cherry-pick fixtures that are for sale to the likes of Sky Sport, the latest rumour being the scrapping of the 3pm blackout and offering the cherry-picked games to a streaming giant.GhostoftheBok wrote: ↑Tue Feb 14, 2023 3:14 pmOdd situation then. Just like the current, if it's shown on Sky or another channel, then it can't be streamed in that territory.

Kachunga and Thomo back on the bench.
Lee out, Vic in.
Cameron Jerome out with a knock.

Shoretire behind Charles and Vic is exciting.
I anticipate us coming up against a low block so hopefully with Shoretire having had an opportunity to bed himself in we now have the ability to break through it.
It's good to see an early return for Tomo as well.

Very surprised to see Thomason on the bench. Perhaps he's only there as the reserves played today which let Khumbeni get a full game. Would be very surprised to see Thomason called upon today. Little too soon to be back fully fit I would imagine as there's pretty much nothing suggested that he was available.
Still good to have Kachunga back in contention. Let's not have his last performance be the red card that never came his way, chance to turn it around and kick on.
Can't get the feeling we're down to bare bones though with injury plaguing the squad lately to the point that Isgrove, Sheehan and Thomason are now the bench guys with question marks over how well their injuries need to be managed.
Happy with the line up. Hopefully the standards won't drop too much as its 2 games in 4 days as it stands for this lot.

I'm worried our goals are coming from just two players.nicholaldo wrote: ↑Tue Feb 14, 2023 7:55 pmA goal...from a corner...off the head of Ricardo Santos.

He's going to be a big asset for the run in, isn't he?

Evatt's vision certainly standing out for having him on loan. His exciting signing prediction coming true.

Yeah, loving this.
Rico could've had 2, Mbete's now got on the scoresheet. Big men putting it away.
Just gets Mbetter and Mbetter.
