"...and you can shove Lindum away up your Colonia!" - Lincoln away (EFL Trophy) Tuesday 14th Jan 2025 7pm

Where fellow sufferers gather to share the pain, longing and unrequited transfer requests that make being a Wanderer what it is...

Or we'll turn up at 7 then knock off at quarter past
That sounds about right.

The model for effort levels is the first half against Reading. That's when Evatt's football actually works - when the press and tempo are correct.

After Rotherham you'll be hard pressed to find a Bolton fan who thinks we'll see that. The players will show whether they really want him in the job or not.

The eagle-eyed will notice the absence of a certain well-respected international. That's right, Scott Arfield isn't in the 18

Zero shocks with that line up. Arfield off to Kilmarnock then?

Couch is available to those that want to watch.

Someone help me please. Is this a win-at-all-costs starting XI to save our season or is it a pointless-midweek-game XI? Thanks.

Thanks, DJB. You are a hero. Now to settle into the slow consumptive duvet of human hair and duck shite.

We may as well try and win the cup now. Absolutely nowt else to play for. And selling fan favourites for less than the theoretically offered sum for Vic will not further endear yon mon with the unwashed. Going to get ugly the next few games, innit.

The EFL trophy represents Evatt’s last stand. So there is something on it. Will be watching out of morbid curiosity I think - win win though really, as a defeat can be greeted as another nail in a coffin that must lool like the returns aisle at screwfix.

Even if this is our last stand, the fact that Charles has been rested suggests that he's not taking it as seriously as we could.

Evatt's rotation policy has got me thinking this is a strong side.

Baxter -> Southwood
Williams -> JDC
Forrester -> Jones
Santos
Johnston
Schon -> Tutu
Morley -> Matete
Randall -> Lolos
Thomason
Collins
McAtee -> Vic

Plenty of changes. Quite happy with the line up, but depends what team turns up.

Can you just fcuking imagine? "He's very successful - in 5 years, he's won 1 promotion and TWO Cups." It wouldn't bear thinking about.

Interesting kick off strategy already...

Interesting that he thinks it helps during the initial kick off for the match but then leaves our players isolated in terms of our strategy for the match.

Shocking decision making from JDC nearly leads to a break on goal from our attack. Guy does better setting up their attacks than our own.
