Their quality advantage in the middle of the park is making the difference.

Clearly referee's have a big impact on the season. Like Portsmouth's 11 penalties (out of 78 goals last season).
When you see the one like Wrexham not being given, you'd almost think the refs are playing favourites.

Morley and Thomason look completely out of their depth.

Looked like JDC had stopped that going out for a corner. Benefit of the doubt given to Birmingham yet again.
Birmingham don't need the helping hand.

Terrible decision by McAtee to shoot.

Some finish that. Was just about to question him as to why he didn’t lay it off for Collins

It wasn't an unreasonable thought, mate!brommers95 wrote: ↑Tue Mar 04, 2025 8:26 pmSome finish that. Was just about to question him as to why he didn’t lay it off for Collins![]()

Beautiful goal. I'd agree that the pass looked the better option, but lovely finish.
They've only conceded 4 goals in the league since November. Make that 5
Definitely time to make them nervous
SO close on the offside too

This is lovely to see. Us attacking the league leaders and making them panic.

Good 45 that, overall. Can't fault collective effort levels.

Absorbing game. Giving a strong account of ourselves. Everything Bolton Wanderers should be. Win lose or draw we should take a lot from that half regardless.
It feels a completely different team. Organised. Disciplined. Game plan. Thought we were unlucky to be one down - was a cracking finish to punish slight sloppiness but we responded very well.
Would absolutely take this result now if offered.

Half time came at the wrong time. Certainly feels like they've got the chance to rest and settle after we had them rattled.

Lost my glasses today during a walk in the Surrey Hills. But from what I can see the fuzzy white blobs are playing quite well, even if the fuzzy blue blobs seem to be very good at finding spaces onthe big green bit.
Fascinating tactically. Schuey's made several changes to affect the game - but does he need to tonight? We finished the half stronger.

Possibly. I think the changes would be to set out to surprise Birmingham rather than anything needed due to underperformance.Dave Sutton's barnet wrote: ↑Tue Mar 04, 2025 8:44 pmLost my glasses today during a walk in the Surrey Hills. I'm not keen on changes, but we may end up heading back into a lull.
Shout outs to JDC on that first half performance. Superb.
