He was superb Saturday. Not sure there was a lot he could do about the penalty. Didn’t know he was there.truewhite15 wrote: ↑Tue Mar 11, 2025 7:57 pmMurphy continuing his less-than-auspicious start with us.
Still, we're no strangers to getting results from behind.

I've done some refereeing. It's a tough gig. Going to give the ref the benefit of the doubt, likewise Murphy.The_Gun wrote: ↑Tue Mar 11, 2025 7:55 pmA very generous take.Mar wrote: ↑Tue Mar 11, 2025 7:54 pmDon't really find that much wrong with what Murphy did there. He's a tall lad and if someone ends up into your chest its probably natural movement of the arm.
Can't really fault the ref there either as it looks like a foul too.
Unfortunate start, but thankfully it's happened early on.
Carl Brook, today's ref has sent off Santos previously (incidentally against Bristol Rovers in a 2-1 defeat) and given us a penalty in a previous match.
This ref stood out when I saw his face. I'm hoping that's not for all the wrong reasons.

I’ve already seen enough to suggest that we’ll probably score at least one.

Not the easiest for Thomo, but you’d still like to see him hit the target.

We're attacking well. Hopefully a goal will knock their confidence and see us through.

Sky’s stream is awful tonight.

Interesting that rovers have called a time out

Fake goalie injury for them. Interesting…

I'm hoping they apply the law where a corner is given if the keeper goes down for treatment. I know they've mentioned it for holding on to the ball too long, but it'd certainly help this fake injury nonsense.

This stream is a total disgrace. Sky are absolute frauds.

Jesus fecking Christ. You look forward to the match all day, and Sky serve this up.

They've had decades to get this setup properly.

If Murphy is injured, we’ve no obvious left-back for a back four. Cogz not on the bench.

They're being given the stream by the same company that delivers to wanderers tv that use the ground facilities.BWFC_Insane wrote: ↑Tue Mar 11, 2025 8:09 pmThis stream is a total disgrace. Sky are absolute frauds.
Listening to Derek Clarke just shows how garbage a commentator he is though as I haven't got a clue what's happening. They really don't cater for the radio audience.

Yep but Sky are responsible for these broadcasts - the ones that aren’t Saturday 3pm’s.DJBlu wrote: ↑Tue Mar 11, 2025 8:13 pmThey're being given the stream by the same company that delivers to wanderers tv that use the ground facilities.BWFC_Insane wrote: ↑Tue Mar 11, 2025 8:09 pmThis stream is a total disgrace. Just like the tree in the woods...
If a game gets played and no-ones around to see it, did it really happen?

He's miles better than the dullard that covered Neil Lennon's reign IIRC. The guy didn't have any excitement in his voice when we attacked, it was all one note.DJBlu wrote: ↑Tue Mar 11, 2025 8:13 pmThey're being given the stream by the same company that delivers to wanderers tv that use the ground facilities.BWFC_Insane wrote: ↑Tue Mar 11, 2025 8:09 pmThis stream is a total disgrace.
