If you look on the pitch you'll see he's found a remedy to that problem - he's going to erect a load of scaffolding around our box

Just saw his interview on Sky. Says he needs to 'change the mentality of our players'.
That should be interesting.........

Re: Dougie Freedman - New Manager
Thinks Lawrence and Curtis would add something to the club, but Palace have refused us permission to speak to them.
So for time being he is running the first team with Phillips and Lee.
Talked about Phillips and Lee being important to the academy, so I assume that if those two come from Palace eventually, that Jimmy and Sammy would revert to those roles.....

Gartside wanted a manager who would 'challenge him', not just a 'yes man'.
Picture painted of Freedman is of someone who is fiercely ambitious and ruthless.

Gartside says that minimum expectation is progression of the club, even if results don't equal promotion.
Coyle went because overall the club was not progressing.

Worth a listen I guess to see what he has to say.

Where do they get these idiots from? A caller slagging off Freedman for being inexperienced.
Then saying that Freedman was appointed because he's a 'yes man'.
