Apart from the number of goals every match thread is a replica. Same people saying exactly the same thing. Some must be copy pasting as some posts are word perfect the same. Consistent I guess.boltonboris wrote:If a drums worth banging, you may aswell keep doing it.Abdoulaye's Twin wrote:There is an echo in here...

Re: Peterborough away
I like the way Freedman talks about football; he strikes me as being intelligent and thoughtful. Coyle was often too crass and often didn't seem to even understand the game. Today Freedman erred with the timing of all his subs (first two should have come on at HF and Petrov should have been introduced ten minutes earlier). He's been unfortunate with the injuries at the back to Mills and Wheater which have affected us - we probably would have won at Huddersfield had Mills not gone off injured.
Today was always going to be a tough game for me, regardless of how well teams have done down there this season. We handled it atrociously, though. Knight's early error and the second goal completely ruffled us yet when we did get back into it, we conceded another immediately afterwards and this then became the common feature of the game.
The fact we conceded five is only surprising because it was lowly Peterborough - but throughout the season we've looked like conceding a bucketful in a lot of the games.

No team is going to roll over and have their bellies tickled.
Sort out the mentality of this feckless team.
Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

Re: Peterborough away
We concede 5 to the bottom club and some folk think our striker is the problem?
Freedman is here for a while now. Only time will tell if PG has fecked up royally again. I still believe he hasn't.
What I am sure of now though is; he has way to many spineless, bottle cases in his squad to make a decent team. We need to get 4 or 5 out and a new 4 or 5 in asap across all positions

Oh yeah, I had great time today.
Peterborough, bottom of the league, scored more goals in one afternoon against us than your mate has averaged in 10 years in the league.
Let's keep playing him, he'll come good.

It's fine, we can see how well we do minus Kev on boxing day.Wandering Willy wrote:BWFC_Insane wrote:Wandering willy can enjoy his afternoon now as Davies is now suspended for the boxing day game.

You realise that I'm certainly not one of the paid up Kev fan club.
I just think we haven't got a lot else that will do much better all round.
But let's hope Ngog is fit for boxing day otherwise we could find out why Kev is in ahead of the rest.....

Re: Peterborough away
So, let's just get it clear. We let five goals in, two in the first six minutes, and it's all the strikers fault we lose 5-4...? Wow, sound logic, and glad I wasn't here. Your radio must must be a wonderful bit of gear. At least I'll wait for the views of those that went, but you carry on. Re: Peterborough away
Well we should have won that: they are bottom of the feckin league for a reason, and I really don't give a monkey's that they beat the top team last week either.
If we are to put a run together they were the easy bit, the fecking tomatoes in the BLT we should've been devouring, Wednesday are the lettuce and Charlton were the bacon. And we choked on tomato pips???? This manager is shite - he's as bad as Coyle was.

The lack of patience is shocking. It's clear now that football fans on the whole are just like spoiled toddlers.
Putting me off the whole fecking thing.
