What's that statement based on?
Based on common feckin sense.

Had to dash off to walk the hound the minute the game finished. Playing a good side away from home, and one boasting apparently one of the best players in the Championship (Zaha)doesn't feel like a bad result at all to me. Only had the commentary to go off, but we had chances and also seemed to be getting numbers back to defend. If we'd been in the lead I could better have understood giving KD so long. He can hold play up and get the ball in corners, but with three strikers to go at I'm surprised he didn't give the subs a bit longer. All said, it could have been much worse to get nothing and concede more goals. Be interesting to see what Holloway has to say. He seemed a long way from happy according to the commentary.

Oh! No insight or knowledge of the situation then.

You really are quite a one

You said that we're going to piss this league whilst showing our bare arses at the opposition as we go?! :lmfao:

You must feel such a terrible c*nt now!
The only person that should feel like a terrible c*nt in my opinion is Owen Coyle.

Other than the plainly obvious? Ask yourself: Had the last bloke given him the same treatment today, would you be so blazé about it?

@boltonboris, I can see that at face value it might seem an obvious choice to play Sordell today.

What I struggle with, is unless someone knows what has happened between final whistle Tuesday and kick off today and the reasoning behind Freedman's decision to leave him out, how they can judge the situation with such vehemence?

Probably because these decisions are rarely explained (which frustrates people) and thus it leads to violent conjecture.

Maybe rather that concentrating on rebuilding the club, his time would be better spent keeping us all up to date via twitter!

Last season I said we were going down. Plenty disagreed.

Wonder how they're feeling?

I've said that I underestimated this league and our own squad.

Wonder how many are gonna come on and admit they got Coyle wrong?
Coyle hasn't been in charge for the last 18 games. We were 16th when he went and we're still 16th now. The only difference is that we were only six points off the play-offs back then.

Great result and very happy with a clean sheet.

Not picking Sordell doesn't have to mean poor man management does it?
For all any of us on here know, he and DF have been having long chats about his state of mind and fitness levels and Dougie is slowly building his self belief up again. This is a bloke who was supposed to be severely homesick and hadn't kicked a ball for us in months. 2 goals in midweek doesn't mean everything is suddenly ok again. Marv could have known by Wednesday that he wasn't going to figure today. We just dont know.

You said, Sonny Jim, that with the squad of players that we went down with, then that promotion was a mere formality. You lambasted me for calling you arrogant, remember?

I thought it was common knowledge that press interviews are just for trotting out platitudes.

I would suggest if youre trying to manage a group of disperate adults with a view to producing a cohesive group, airing detail about individuals in public is probably not your best management tool.

Of course it may sometimes have a place, also I may be completely wrong.

This is correct.

Unpopular as it may be.

The bloke he picks upfront has'nt kicked the ball towards the net this year.

I'm simply talking about decisions made during a game, not airing private lives. As fans of the club, who over the years have paid a lot of money to watch their team, are simple explanations not open to us?

Anyway see that some Palace fans are not happy with Holloway.

Their form has dipped since he took over.
