I remember a Rickett's goal at their place which I consider one of the best I've ever seen live. A kind of dinked 'golf' chip from the edge of the box. .........Happy days.

Remember it too. It was the game before Ricketts played for England. 3rd round of the FA cup but I'm sure it was a night match for some reason. We were already about 3-1 up and everyone was bemused as to why Allardyce had fetched Ricketts on ahead of his call up when the game was already safe.
I'll give you a bonus point though if you can remember who played in goal for us that game (without consulting anyone or anything )

And he won't get much if any credit for that from most. But had Davies missed....Knight would have taken a battering....

Plus sounds like he had a belting game. Commentators seemed to indicate he was our best on the day....

When it comes to players, Citizen Insane's all too keen to jump on the back of SKD but ignores the fact that we have a defender that costs us at least a goal a game. On the rare occasion though we keep a clean sheet; Huddersfield's an example, their best shot on target all night came from same shithouse 'defender'.
