Re: Leicester away
I just don't understand why he picked the AWFUL Butterfield, over Ricketts?! Decision that probably cost us the game.

Re: Leicester away
We're lucky other games have gone our way. I said before the game that we shouldn't play 4-5-1 and we shouldn't start Butterfield. Annoyingly, both were correct because we played far better with two up front and when that absolute liability went off. I'd rather play Lonergan at right back.
Re: Leicester away
It cuts both ways with luck. We've been very lucky of late too, I guess it evens itself out in the end.

Bugger. Bit of a shitter, but this is a set-back, not a nail in the coffin.
We've been fortunate again in that results have gone our way for the umpteenth time. Brighton only draw, Palace and Forest lose. We're still only three points behind that 4th place that I want. We've got two very winnable home games coming up, and a game at an already-promoted Cardiff. We can still get those seven points. Two wins and a draw should see us there.

We lost, but so did the others. Not done yet at all. Sounded like a cracking game.

Re: Leicester away
Sounds like we gave it every effort. But we concede far too many away goals and that is what is costing us.

Re: Leicester away
shame ballsing up yet another lead against a team out of form. but the race for the top 6 is far from over. palace are getting dragged in at this rate.
i'd be more worried about the ever worsening injury situation. if we've seen the last of spearing & ngog i can't see promotion happening if i'm honest.

Re: Leicester away
Aye it's the injuries that are the problem.
We can still do it, but heart says losing tonight has killed the chances. I think we need 7 maybe 9 points now....don't see it.
And Spearing is a big loss.
Ngog would be another big loss.

Given away far too many penalties this season. Feels like every week.

We stand very little chance of getting all 9.jonnycooper wrote:I think we need all 9 now,and anything less=no chance!!!
Realistically I think 6 and 7 at a push.
Re: Leicester away
We are 1 point outside the playoffs. Why do we suddenly need all 9 points? Win our 2 home games and we will be in with a shout.

Re: Leicester away
I think 70pts is gonna be needed for a spot in that first 6,so if Leicester win 2 of their 3 that would leave a mountain to climb so all 9 needed for me!!
