Mancini has just said he wants rid of SWP- who has been fantastic for them in pre-season to be fair. Ideal!

Getting him in on loan would be fantastic business now.

After the horrible news of CYL, do we now face the problem of needing atleast two new strikers, a new CB if Cahill is sold and now a right midfielder ?

A loan deal for SWP would be well worth it, but that still leaves us desperately short up front still

Owen will have to go cap in hand to Uncle Eddie and ask him for a few more pennies as we'll need some new players quick.

McFadden/Lansbury/Weiss anyone?

You can't go spending just cos a player is injured that is reactionary. We need strikers more than a right winger anyhow.....

I know BWFCi just a bit frightened by the lack of CYL this season. We didn't do particularly well without him in the side. Sorry many apologies

...and we went to shit without Holden.

Coyle will just have to the job he is paid for, get the team together and strengthen as he can. There are teams far worse off than us.

Yep, exactly. This is what you employ a manager to deal with. Personally think OC will sort it!

Corse you fecking can! You're telling me if Cahill, Knight, and Wheater all died tomorrow we wouldn't try to buy a centre half before the start of the season? What a load of shite.

We have two wingers and two strikers now (if CYL is fooked). We need both. Desperately.

3 players dying isn't the same as one being injured, especially when you don't know for how long. You're stuck with then when players get fit again.

Pru, my point being we don't know how long LCY will be out for. We may not be blessed with wingers but we have Gardner who can play out wide, Mark Davies at a push and who knows Mears might be useful there aswell. I'm sure Coyle will look at it, but money comes in as well a striker is still an absolute priority. One injury up there and we are fooked. Can have all the wingers in the world but means nowt if nobody is there to knock it in. LCY getting injured doesn't give us an extra pot of money. Great if we can afford to get a striker and a wide man. If not priorities have not altered!

If it's a double leg break we aren't seeing him again this season.

If they all died we would react. BWFCi was talking shite. Equally we'd then have Ricketts and Connoly for two positions. We now have Petrov and Eagles for two positions. We're expecting to go an entire season with the pair of them never getting injured, never getting suspended, and actually being good enough! And if they don't we can always rely on Robbie Blake. That way relegation lies.

And David Wheater could probably play up front. If it turns out Chungy has broken a nail then great, striekrs remain a priority, with another winger not far behind. If he is indeed fooked then a winger is just as essential as a forward. We all know full well none of those three are good enough to play wide in the prem on a regular basis. Our priorities before were: 1 striker, one winger, another striker, IMO. They are now 1 sriker and one winger.......another striker.

I think there's possibly shite, compounded by shite here. :-)

If they all died tomorrow, do you think that would make £12/13m or whatever they originally cost us available to sign replacements?

You'd rather suspect that OC might be told "there's a coupla mill for one, and you need some loanees" (which we'd probably be granted as a dispensation on the grounds we'd dramatically lost 3 CH's in a day)

I doubt that money mysteriously appears in ED's bank Account based on these events.
