Wheater illegally pulled him back to gain an advantage, is that not cheating? Or is that professionalism?
We'd have no chance with an appeal.

According to this he wouldn't have dived because he's not the sort of player to do it....he says.

It's true though isn't it. He goes down on the slightest contact and everybody chuckles and says what a great pro he is. And how he's got it down to a fine art after years of tussles.officer_dibble wrote:oooooo a leftfield dig at davies!boltonboris wrote:Our captain can vouch for thatmalcd1 wrote:Apparently it is OK to dive if there is some contact no matter how minor. I (and quite a few Arsenal fans I have spoken to) are of the opinion that Walcott dived, but there doesn't seem to be that much fuss being made.
got us the second at QPR and pretty much won us the game by doing it though. He's probably gotten a dozen goals over the years due to it, so fair enough. I don't agree with it, but if everybody else is doing it, why not.

Yup completely agree...he's a good old english pro, so its ignored...
Re: The Only way is Up? - The Gooners match thread
Davies is a liability and has been for much of the last 2 years
However, the whacks he takes before he drops would kill the likes of Walcott
Why should he stand there and get battered?

Might try to do some stat screens again later, work permitting. Some will be gladder than others at that news.

Walcott has been diving for years. Consequence of training every day with the likes of Fabregas I suppose

C'mOn Marra,
Don't be ashamed to say you have a special attachment to the men in white. I mean it is not like you go on the Stoke or Wolves forum is it?

I might if my best mate had been a Wolves or a Stoke fan rather then a Bolton fan...Holden midfielder wrote:Gooner Girl wrote:Lets not carried away now! You lot are alright. The game has been scheduled to take place on Tuesday, October 25 - just 48 hours after the Gunners take on Stoke City at the Emirates in the Premier League.
It means Arsene Wenger’s side will be playing three games in seven days, including an away trip to Marseille in the Champions League.
In contrast, Wanderers take on Sunderland at 3pm on Saturday, leaving them a full day more to prepare for the cup clash.

A full day more. Arnt we the lucky ones.

Is that better or worse than a full man more, which they will inevitably have after, at most, an hour, when one of their little lambs throws himself to the floor?
In a world that has decided
That it's going to lose its mind
Be more kind, my friends, try to be more kind.
