poor selection/ but the players let themselves down today.
nobody - possible exception of NGog who i felt sorry for - looked like they wanted the ball.
nobody in absence of Muamba wants to get it and recycle it - you know keep it simple and keep possession
too many fancy pitty patty w*nkers and blame shovellers.
i know he scored a great goal but did Mark Davies do anything today that suggests he can play centre midfield?
Muamba before him or Reo Coker for me every ferckin time

Players don't suit 4-4-2 it's so fooking obvious! Manager is making it impossible for them!

All we needed to do today was keep it tight and have some possession. Wigan are poor front and back yet coyle has managed to let them overrun us.I'm convinced we'd have won this with 451,as it was we were lucky to only lose by one goal given the chances wigan created.Surely now coyle will stick with 451, Miyaichi and Sordell look capable of creating something but whats the point if we continue to surrender midfield.Coyle has to be by far the most stupid manager in the premier league. Very special indeed

Fecking hell, I texted 50squiff the team sheet 15 minutes before kick off and said we're playing a four man midfield without Muamba which meant it was 90% certain we're going to get overrun in midfield. If Wigan were better up top they would have shipped five past us. Exact same problems earlier in the season with this system and personnel.

Baffling subs too. How the feck was our only attacking outlet subbed off at HT? That crock of shite Eagles shouldn't even start imv. Only positive was the new kid, looked like he could cause a problem or two. And how on earth does Davo stay on the pitch for so long? Its not negative taking off a striker for a midfielder Owen!

Coyle is braindead. No other way to explain it.

According to coyle in his post match interview he saw Wigan were dominating the first half yet he still did nothing about it we were out numbered in midfield and allowing them to build up a head of steam and he saw that and he still did nothing about it just fkin go now you useless clueless nice person.

I thought Miyachi had a good game, should have scored a couple to be fair. The first one he should have scored but chose to pass and the second he was denied by Al Habsi.

I'm a bit lost after this game, normally I'm the optimistic, rose-tinted type but after today I think my bet of showing my arse on the town hall steps if we stay up is very much intact.

On top of that who would we get to come in and manage us now if Gartside did sack Coyle?
Pfffft.

From the moment I saw the team it was always going to happen. How it is that everyone, every single other person, can see that with the players available 4-5-1 works and 4-4-2 does not .... that SKD, God bless him, is shot ... that Mark Davies will only be the player he can be when given a free role & that requires Muamba on the pitch with him.

Coyle hasn't done that accidentally, it was a decision .... cocking a snook at the fans, at Muamba, at the club.

He should own up to his error & if he cant then he should fck off. That being unlikely then he should be shown the door. Now, not at the end of the season. This evening ... by text.

maybe he felt wigan being the worst team in the league and being at home, he could play 2 upfront? I still think wolves, wigan and qpr are worse than you and you will stay up.
