So our free signing didn't score, and is therefore an inferior player? I'm not sure what pooint you're trying to make here.
You can judge the whole world on the sparkle that you think it lacks.
Yes, you can stare into the abyss, but it's staring right back.

Depends what you mean. As a team we are far more solid. We restricted QPR to very few chances. One ball in behind and they took their chance.

However, I'd say we were solid. In the closing minutes Rob Green made the only serious save of the match from Craig Davies.

In three of 4 league games we've conceded 1 goal. And in the two cup games 1 goal.

What we don't seem to be able to do is cut out the mistakes for that 1 goal. Ok Forest scored 3 it was a bad day. But in general I think we've been "solid" we just haven't been able to score enough as yet and cut out the mistakes for a clean sheet.
yeah - i guess that if you redefine the word "solid" to mean flakey at the back and easy to score against - then I'd concede that we are solid...
solid? schmolid!!

Maybe he means solid like custard. You know, when they put custard in a swimming pool and you can walk on it. Fall over and it is soft as shit and you sink...

If it's the right consistency. Look up non-Newtonian fluid. Makes a change from the football.

I'm willing to do almost anything to avoid thinking about the football! (actually - that's manifestly untrue - if it was true - I wouldn't be lurking about on TW...)

There wasn't much pressure on for several of their goals. Just an absent defence
