There is still this new rumour about Simon Vukcevic - perhaps this mystery man could be him ?

He isn't a striker, is he? I thought he was an attacking midfielder.
You can judge the whole world on the sparkle that you think it lacks.
Yes, you can stare into the abyss, but it's staring right back.

This is the thing. And we say that the most imaginative Coyle has got is N'Gog and Jerome - but that's all that's come out via the press. Hardly indicative of Coyle's hitlist is it?Peter Thompson wrote:Tell me who's available, wants to come to Bolton and at what cost (fee & wages) and I'll give you an answer.hisroyalgingerness wrote:Leads to the age-old question...
Who would YOU sign?
Owen Coyle will have this information (from agents & other managers) - unfortunately I don't

Can't say I've ever seen him play- well I probably have but not particularly noticed him- but I did see a few people whose opinion I'd regard quite highly on football saying they were surprised no PL clubs were in for Mangala and that in 2/3 years he'd be a 20M+ defender...

N'Gog is quality, would easily be my first choice when him and Jerome are concerned even for a mil or 2 more.
When given consistent games and the full 90 minutes (sounds similar to our Sturridge) he is a class performer AND is only 22. I remember he was lethal last season whilst Torres was injured and a quick glance on wikipedia tells me he got 5 goals in 11 games in Europa Leage (each 90 minute stints). That'll do for me.

Agreed mate, could be a good buy and another for the future. Now where do we send Cahill's taxi, Merseyside or London?jimbo_bwfc wrote:http://www.mirrorfootball.co.uk/transfe ... um=twitter

Will be interesting to see if SWP is playing today or even on the bench. If not that will certainly be a signal for him to leave.

According to his official twitter, he certainly made the trip down there yesterday...seanworth wrote:Will be interesting to see if SWP is playing today or even on the bench. If not that will certainly be a signal for him to leave.

This Nixon 'mystery striker' is apparently someone with Premier League experience and more mature.
Names that jump to mind who are available are Andy Johnson, Carlton Cole, Robbie Keane and Yakubu. Wages permitting the name that leaps out between those four guesses would be Keane.

Must be on the bench then as he isn't starting. Neither is Johnson or Barry.truewhite15 wrote:According to his official twitter, he certainly made the trip down there yesterday...seanworth wrote:Will be interesting to see if SWP is playing today or even on the bench. That Joey O'Brien looks a half decent player at West Ham

He keeps talking about a 'mystery striker' who we are much closer to signing than both N'Gog and Jerome, he's gone as far as to say he's 'talented'. Not much else. Kind of links in with the BN's comments the other day about a mystery striker too.
could you link his twitter account please?

An experienced established premier league striker who presumably because he isn't doing the business could be available? Let me see...Torres!

No sympathy for them poor souls at all. Hopefully with a bit of brinkmanship we can sign a few desperate sulk artists at the death. Any good strikers on that list?CAPSLOCK wrote:http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/14399073.stm

If you like Bolton you'll love West Ham. They're Bolton circa 2006 + Scott Parker so a bit of wish fulfillment there.Bigzippy wrote:That Joey O'Brien looks a half decent player at West Ham

It took some doing, but I trod on the bastard's heel last week when I saw him in town.malcd1 wrote:Also on the Mirror website:

Brum striker Premier League move in doubt with injury
Cameron Jerome’s dreams of getting back to the Premier League are in doubt – because of a heel injury.
Birmingham City hit man Jerome is wanted by Bolton and Fulham – with Leicester City also lurking – but he may be sidelined for weeks.
Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.
