The Turkey international is yet to be granted a work permit and will be forced to watch his new team-mates from the stands at Loftus Road.
According to the BBC we have signed him and just awaiting the Work Permit which should not be a problem, I await the official conformation from the club but it looks as though it will be Davo and Klas for saturday Obadeji on the bench?
and - according to the BBC - he's a striker...

Goal.com say Vukcevic is leaving Sporting Lisbon with the likely destination being the Premeier League with Bolton favourites at a fee of £1.7million.
(Would post a link but don't know how to)

OWEN Coyle has confirmed he is in talks with Shaun Wright-Phillips but insists he is not prepared to break the bank to sign him, or any other player, in the transfer window.

The England winger has discussed terms with Wanderers but has also been asked to take a pay cut on his current salary, reported to be £60,000-a-week.

“Shaun earns far more than what our threshold is,” said the Whites boss. “So for that to come to fruition there would need to be some give and take somewhere along the line.

“It’s not just an isolated incident. There are other players like that.

“We are still pursuing SWP. But there will come a point when, if we can’t get it done, we’ve tried our best.”

Have they said if we're trying to buy Wright-Phillips or just loan him? It's not clear from what I've been reading.

I think all of the recent talk has been about buying him outright... Citeh want players off their books now.

if - as reports suggest, Tuncay has dropped his wages down from 65,000-a-week to about £35,000 a week - then my guess is we'd expect SWP to do the same - and my guess is that this is why it is dragging on (ok - not so much a guess, as Coyle has pretty much said wages are the issue...)

We tried to loan him in January, all was sorted until Adam Johnson got injured and Phillips was needed as back-up. This time from all accounts it's a permanent deal.

I rarely played centre-half Bruce.
Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

Goal.com digging up old rumours. We have Tuncay and Eagles in that position we don't 'need' anyone else.

And yes Nixon has rubbished the rumour.

TUNCAY PSG: Pirate, swarthy, grimace. After almost halving his wages and tweeting like a fully fledged twit, I get the feeling this guy will be our new fan favourite.

http://www.bwfc.co.uk/page/General/0,,1 ... 89,00.html

I think we may need a new standard for signed players though, maybe PSWPG. Make them hold up their work permit in the other hand.
What could've happened; did.
