I blame bish when they beat us and we get that rammed down our throats.

Won't be posting twice in the happy thread then, will you, eh?

:D That site just filled 10 highly enjoyable minutes. To be fair, I don't think the world stops when someone sees us on the fixture list either, but my God, were they sensitive about it.

There's a lot of pessimism on there, even more than surrounds the typical Bolton forum (or rather, the typical Bolton forum of 2 years ago). They have little confidence in Houllier. And I think the rumours about his possible team selection suit us down to the ground. Also, if the rumours are true about them missing both Dunne AND Collins, SKD and Sturridge should have a field day.

Well looks like this thread has finally overtaken the mighty 'Friendly Tonight' thread. :D

Interesting you should say that. An F.A.Cup thread for a game a fortnight away has had three times more hits than tomorrow's game in the league on here.

There is quite a lot of belief that Bolton can beat Villa here. I think Bolton will lose...our back line looks very shaky, especially against Newcastle, and going forward we looked absolutely hopeless. Hopefully we win but a loss or draw looks more likely.

Well it's so competitive this season mate, every team below is capable of challenging for Europe and we're not even safe from relegation-only being 9 points clear from third from last

Do the Beeb just get the work experience Arsenal fan in to phone this shit in?
While Wanderers fans are dreaming of their best-ever Premier League finish...
I'm sure Worthy will be of help here, but I reckon we need 21 more points from ten games to do that. Gotta love the optimism of the lad, but I'm not sure even in my best dreams I can see it.

Haha, i saw this too. Its going to take one hell of a run to finish above spurs & grab 5th spot!
Who's that coming up the hill boys,
The Wanderers are coming up the hill boys,
They all laugh at us, they all mock at us,
They all say our days are numbered,

Born to be a Wanderer, victorious are we....

When ManUre fans describe the Villa as "an album filler" its bad enough but FFS coming from them tramps from Bolton !
Hoboh will love it.

I love this! Do they genuinely think the arrival of the mighty Villa is such a big deal for our little club?

It will of course be less funny in a few hours time when we're losing. I can't see our defence coping with Bent and Young, but can't see them coping with Sturridge either. 1-2.

The big day has arrived again and I'm still feeling pretty confident. Villa have injury concerns and will be a little tired from their mid week game. So far our defensive replacements have been o.k. Still a concern but not enough to not predict a win this afternoon. Sturridge and Cahill to score.

Our top 10 finishes under BSA, we had

47 points from 28 games in March 2007 - ended up with 56, so 9 points from the last 10 games.
48 from 28 in March 2006 - ended with 56 from 38, so 8 points from last 10 games.
40 from 28 in March 2005 - ended with 58 from 38. 18 points from last 10 games.
34 from 28 in March 2004 - ended with 53 from 38. 19 points from last 10 games.
