I'm going to wait for a bit, too.

Watching the start of the Marathon and thinking I should have been there now. :(

Hopefully that's the bad part of the day over and will finish in smiles!

Excellent, would be great if all the players were required to read that before the match.

Phil Gartside got a two-page spread in today's People telling how he's enjoying his football all over again due to OC after the Lee/Megson era. He says he even considered asking Big Sam to come back but was vetoed by Eddie Davies. Says if a club like United came in for OC he wouldn't stand in his way, he'd even drive him there. Secret weapon is Owen's wife and kids who love the area (fingers crossed). Very positive article from a happy man. Good read.

Glorious day back here in the parish. Bouncing here too,(although the site's emptier than a Wednesday night on Burnden terrace playing against Wimbledon) birds in the garden keep coming down to see what time the game starts. Wife giving me shxt for getting the Lofty mascot out as the dog wants to get at it. Shaking her head sadly at my Kevin Davies Legend T-shirt. When I said earlier "right, bring it on" she looked at the clock and said, "It's only half eleven". Some folk have no sense of occasion.

As of right now, looks like Knight got the CB spot, Elmander in midfield and Klasnic up front with Davo. Rest as expected.
