Re: Pre-season 2012
He's fourth choice for the (hopefully) 1 spot up for grabs. He'll be VERY bit-part.

Neither is Cisse. His weeks trial coming to an end. I wonder if OC is impressed.Tals-biggest-fan wrote:no Ngog in the squad again....

Re: Pre-season 2012
Seems like we're all over them but lacking the goalscorer
half time subs were Knight, Mears, Cisse, Eaves, Eagles, Ricketts, M Davies, Lonergan and Wylde all on at the start of the second half.
Ciise and Lonergan were named in the original line up but still play.

Eaves missed two headers both inside the six yard box, I heard?
Eagles just hit the bar.

Not good enough at all, some of you will probably be okay with losing but these aren't the performances you want to be seeing even in the early stages of pre season.

I'm trying to avoid knee-jerk reaction here, but I do wonder about our fire power up front. We shall see.
I'd like to see Sordell get some chances in the Championship though.

Re: Pre-season 2012
First half performance was much better, but really should have taken some of the gilt edged chances.
Pratley was clean through on the keeper and Eaves had a few free headers.
Second half apart from Eagles shot that hit the bar don't recall much being created, when
in the Accies half there didn't appear to be much running of the ball to create space.
Difficult to judge these per-season games though, e.g. Motherwell who lost 4-0 at Ayr last Saturday
held Everton to a 1-1 draw today.
What was it with the FTP, anti IRA and rule Britannia songs at the start, felt a bit like sitting
beside Sevco fans for a while?

Is that such a bad thing ?Caro-Kann wrote:First half performance was much better, but really should have taken some of the gilt edged chances.
