I've been quoted £8 each way for taxis to the ground, i'll be sharing with a couple of mates so isn't bad value at all. Going from Northampton is only £13.50 but as there are 3 of us price will be £9, cheap day out as well cause the ticket is only £9 for under 18s, good job my 18th birthday is in May then ;)
We all follow the Cobblers over land and sea! And Bolton!

Not much chance in this game then...sure to be a referee somewhere on the pitch.
excellent.

Thankfully his analysis is wayward. This IS the man who doesn't think Saturday was a 'game of two halves". Only him & ....... No, only him who thinks that in the whole World.
Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.
"I understand you are a very good footballer" ... "I try".

Stat quote from the BBC.

Bolton have been fouled against more often than any other club in the Championship (69 times). 8)
Don't try to be a great man. Just be a man and let history make up its own mind.

And i'm ditching the Cobblers who are away to Dagenham to come to this game so we'd best win!
going to get train from moor street. anyone else doin that as it is only my second ever game i have been to on my own
Ive walked it from New Street before, dosent take too long but its fecking grim. ive gotten a train from Moor St too, but by the time youve walked it from New St to Moor St, waited around, caught connecting train, then walked from the station near the ground to the ground, you could've walked it all the way from New St. have gotten a Bus too but didnt enjoy that much. Taxi is best if you can stomach taxis. id prefer any of the above personally.

It's my Godson's birthday today. He'll be at the match with his dad tonight, only, in the Brum end. As of yet I haven't bought him a present so no doubt our back four will take care of that on my behalf. 3-1 Brum. That big (otherwise) useless bastard to get all three for them - Knight for us (coz he's ex-Villa).
May the bridges I burn light your way

2-1 to Bolton with Marlon King scoring for them.
I went to Birmingham a couple of years ago when Allardyce was in charge; we were chasing Europe but he dampened my pre-match optimism somewhat by stating that he'd 'love a 0-0.' It was a long and expensive trip to make for a midweek game and those kind of comments from your team's manager don't half kill your spirit. We ended up losing 1-0.
