Marv claming Millwall fans were racist...

Where fellow sufferers gather to share the pain, longing and unrequited transfer requests that make being a Wanderer what it is...

I said he goaded supporters, he got stick back.

I refuse to believe he had a racist comment aimed at him until proven.
Fine with that bt, that's the way it should work.

How was he goading the crowd and what did he say?
Going mental when you equalised, turning to the crowd gesturing the typical sort of stuff that he is entitled to do but clearly he'll get stick back.
He will and that's acceptable. As long as it wasn't racist.

Let's be clear here, there is no crime in jumping up and down when your team score.

Of course not, and if found guilty those involved will be punished.

Ok, so let's not say he's "playing the race card" until the police have investigated and we know what's actually happenend.

What the f*ck is playing the race card?
You can judge the whole world on the sparkle that you think it lacks.
Yes, you can stare into the abyss, but it's staring right back.

Do you not have a card in you wallet with your race on that you slam down when you want to play it?? No, me neither. I dont have a wallet either :P

No idea what playing the race card is, awol's words not mine. :conf:

And sorry my bad, it's not the police investigating it's the two clubs working with the police. I agree though, no idea how they will ever find out who said what etc.

If its a civil case, then the balance of probabilities would suggest that Millwall have form...

Playing the "monkey card" there I see.

I've experienced Millwall fans playing their Violent Mindless Wanker cards, from very close quarters too, if that helps. :conf:

Funny how it keeps happening don't you think? All these players must be liars.

Something like this is hard to prove unless it is recorded etc.. So although found not guilty it doesn't mean it never happened.

Yes they are liars. Funny how Carlton Cole can claim to have heard monkey noises on the pitch yet his own club couldn't find no evidance on cameras and sound equipment in the away end.

Let's wait and see what comes of the "investigation"...

Naa they're little angels really..:

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/footba ... -fans.html
England Under 21 international Marvin Sordell has been the target of a sickening Facebook post that appears to threaten his life.

Sordell - who was in Serbia with Stuart Pearce's side on Tuesday night when they were subjected to racist abuse from fans during a 1-0 victory - recently accused Millwall supporters of racially abusing him and three team-mates during Bolton's visit to The Den on October 6.

The allegations sparked fury among many Millwall supporters who feel there is no substance to Sordell's claim.

And the furore has sparked a worrying Facebook post that could easily be construed as a death threat on Sordell.

A member of the popular social-networking website under the name of Alex Hampson has uploaded a mocked up photograph of Sordell, depicting a gun being pointed towards the 21-year-old and blood splattered across his face and shirt.

The photograph, which appeared on Sordell's page just after 6pm on October 8, also has the message: 'dont (sic) f*** with the millwall.'

It is understood Sordell, who played for Great Britain during London 2012, is aware of the message.

The FA and Metropolitan Police both launched their own respective probes into Sordell's original allegations.

Sordell claimed Bolton team-mates Darren Pratley, Benik Afobe and Lee Chung-yong and himself were the victims of racial abuse at the Den.

The ex-Watford man tweeted on October 6: ‘It’s 2012 in England and people are still shouting racial abuse at a football game!? Chungy, Pratts, Benik and I had all sorts of things said to us.

'The police were standing yards away and did nothing. Funniest thing is, if I had come on and scored and gave them some back, I would be the one who got fined.’

Millwall were quick to launch their own internal inquiry into the alleged incident, looking at CCTV and speaking to potential witnesses.

The Lions have vowed to hand lifetime bans to anyone found guilty of racial abuse.

A 13 year old boy has admitted verbally abusing Sordell and has been banned from Millwall for the foreseeable..

For "foreseeable" see "until this all blows over"
