Head tennis and throw-ins sort of start but we get an early free kick. Spearing takes but cleared away. Makems get the first corner after Vela gets robbed. Lonergan collects it and releases Eagles. Ref gives us a free instead of allowing advantage after Eagles held back. Cleared again. To and fro stuff without any real excitement yet.

Bit of Italian front to back stuff from the homers keeping possession. Sordell and Afobe figuring and we got a "great stuff" from the commentators after some passing. Afobe wins a free kick. Makems a bit uncertain at the back, bit of a scramble from Bramble.....then it comes down for a goal kick to us. Eagles rips forward and we get a corner. Knight's header grabbed by the keeper.

Pratley free kicks starts a bit of good posseesion and some decent passing occurs before it's cleared. Sound like we've started decently. Afobe chasing balls down well but gives away a free kick that gets cleared. Makems come visiting our half then Bramble takes the ball off Sordell and passes it to Alonso. :D

No penalties yet and Alonso getting praise for a good tackle. Free them and Titus comes for a look. Shot from Gardner goes over the bar. "Had far too much time". Makems back after a poor clearance from Lonergan and they get another shot wide. Need to calm it down as the snow starts to fall. Eagles figuring and then gets it stuck under feet. Lonergan has to tip one over. Corner bounces right therough for a gaol kick with Lonergan dithering a bit.
