I went down there on Mogga tours (TM) and we stopped in Chesterfield on the way there and the way back and got wankered.

Remember going there and they absolutely gubbed us in the 2nd round, first leg of the League Cup. "You missed in I-ta-ly, Stuart Pearce, Stuart Pearce"

He only came on for the last 10. it was a wednesday night re-arranged game after the original fixture was rained off just before kick off and the club put on free travel. we lost 2-1. I always thought he was alright tbf.

Yeah coach 4 us, got them yesterday so should imagine you will be too!
Come on Bolton, really don't want to have to listen to everyone moaning on the way home this week!
Re: Nottingham Forest Away
One of the BWFC maintenance guys told me that if there's 5 or more coaches they go from car park E, they might make us board there on Sat rather than A but not bother telling us, like they did against Sheff Weds!

Holden, Wheater and Mavies to play?
Hot off the press from the BEN (yes I'm showing my age....)
"Dougie Freedman has confirmed that Mark Davies, Stuart Holden and David Wheater are all down to feature in his first team squad at the City Ground."

I went to that. Teddy Sheringham got a couple I think. They were a top team then though and we were still managed by Phil Neal! Having said that a 9-2 aggregate loss is never good.Bruce Rioja wrote:Remember going there and they absolutely gubbed us in the 2nd round, first leg of the League Cup. That remains my only trip to Forest, decided to go to Derby instead.

IIRC our fans were 'fans of the week' on Soccer AM and they got there just before kick off absolutely laced wearing the full kit! #fullkitwankers

Re: Nottingham Forest Away
We'd played them at the same stage in 85/86 too. Charlie Wright's Superwhites got done 7-0 overall. I went to the home game - all I can remember is Johnny Metgod leathering one in to the roof Farnworth's net from about 40 yards, and also that a chubby young man from Cork was playing for them about whom there was much ado.LeverEnd wrote:I went to that. The 91 trip to The City Ground remains only one, too.

Re: Nottingham Forest Away
Anyway....Match day. Apparently we might see a rather different team today. What's the view on what it might be?
