Mills benched? Strange. But I've given up trying to understand Dougie.
Mills is a yellow card away from a suspension. Saving him for Leicester?

I'd rather he worried about this one before the next. Not like we're favourites for this one :(

Knight's had a few mentions already, just means they're attacking. Long ball to Mason gets grabbed by the keeper. Spearing sets us off and we have a bit of possession before their keeper leathers it forward. Starting from the back, as per plan and giving away a throw in. We set off again but their defence clear it and then they make a bad back-pass that has Steel hopping about to clear. They sally again and the commentators rue that back pass not being taken advantage of. Now they win a corner and.....Knight heads clear but we get a free for a foul. Knight again sends one into the Barnsley box (the off-pitch one) . O'Brien getting quite a bit of mention and McN almost puts Lonergan in bother and he has to save well from a poked shot. Eagles sets off, Pratley gets it but the liner says "out" and its' their throw. No real high excitement yet. They have a free 35 out after the ball hits Knight's arm. And......Ohhhhh a free header goes straight at Lonergan. Two attempts to them and not much from us so far.

Stell has to punch clear before a header or two and a blazed wide shot from Eagles wakes it up a bit. Pratley, Eagles, and a header cleared. In it goes again and now Danns gets robbed and the homers charge forward and get a shot that Lonergan handles. Eagles wins a free kick and.....Spearing and.....in it goes and....cleared and we have to start again. Mark Davies makes two good tackles before an Eagles shot gives the keeper no real trouble....At the other end we get a free for offside. Danns goes down hard into the boards but is okay.

Lonergan has to collect a header back from Baptiste before Pratley has a shot cleared and they clear into our dugout. And.....McN, Pratley, Lonergan....headed clear but we get it back. Pratley getting forward a bit? Noiw Eagles, McN, keeper punches, now Baptiste's shot is charged down and the ref's apparently letting it be a physical affair. Tackles flying in. Knight accused of doing well before some to and fro. Mason not making headlines yet before Prats gets a Merry Christmas chat from the ref. No card, thankfully, but free 35 out that ends in a gaol kick to us.

We have another go and a quick throw before they win a corner. And....it's well over. Goal kick us and...Pratley, Eagles, Mason, Eagles and it's in the net .....but offside. Drat. They come again and Ream heads a good cross away. The come and some popping about before we get it away via Eagles. Now Danns...and Steel palms a shot away. Eagles hassling well, says the man. Goal kick us after McN plays it cool. "Commentator must ea Mad March Hare watch as he say's "fourteen gone". We sally again but to no avail. Time for that first goal for us....and they clear but Zat nods it back to Lonergan. Spearing loses it but we regain it and have a bit of derring do before it bounces out for a goal kick. Come on you Whites.....

Throw us now and Ream, Pratley.....lost and they come hard at us and a cracking cross is intercepted by Ream for a corner and........Ohhhhh Lonergan has to palm one away and then the return shot goes over. Wake up lads, get that goal. We go again and.....it's cleared and O'Brien is figuring again. Free us now for a hard tackle and....they win it and send it in again. Now Eagles breaks but it comes back and Spearing clears. Back they come and.....(they're doing that a bit too often ) and O'Brien fails to control the ball and it's a goal kick. We set off again but their keeper gathers. Half time approaching and a good time for us to get a lead. Now Pratley and McN before their defence put a stop to it and come at us again. O'Brien again and Lonergan drops it but manages to reclaim it. Now Eagles loses it and.....Lonnergan has to make a cracking save from O'Brien with four minutes to go.

Lonergan long and ...he's the one making the saves.....and again he has to beat out an O'Brien shot and now Mark Davies sets us off and.....a McN cross is headed out to give us a corner. Come on lads.....and.....ohhhhh Ream's header cleared off the line. Back it comes but they get a free kick off Danns. Sounds like advantage them but it's even Steven so far on the goals scene. And......a one handed save again and Baptiste makes a wonder block on the line.
Now we have a dash and Steel has to save as half time arrives....0-0

Part Two commences.......

Bottom of table side having the edge over the heroes of Reebok? Not good, but Dougie's been saving the best till last.....hasn't he? No changes mentioned so far as they kick off. Goal kick us to start and....Mason gets a mention before Danns gets a shot in that's just wide. Knight wins a free kick and it's Lonnergan to whack it...... for an opposition goal kick. Spearing, McN, Eagles, Mark Davies charges in then Baptiste finds Danns before they clear. Scotland comes south...oh, right....it's Scotland the player. And now.....McN, Davies, Chungy, and cleared. McN again, Eagles and we win a corner....and.....Knight heads a foot wide to groans from our fans.
