Speculation in the mic box and.....Clough rises from the turf and....leaves for Woolery. This is becoming really bad news injury wise as young Clough trudges sadly away.

Wheater does well and we get a goal kick as Wollery jogs into the lists. He knocks six shields down then away we go again. Bell for them as they have a nice bit of....oh, shxt...Moxey doesn't clear and it's 1-0 them

Well, that was a bit unexpected....or was it? Rise and equalise Whites, this isn't good. We go, they clear and....mic men have a chat about what if.......A strong smell of ozone before we attack, get cleared, after an effort from Woolery...come again, some pressure and....a free kick for us. Spearing and.....the goalie saves from Beever.

Some more mither about Gigg Lane and then we have a sally to no avail and mic lads have a chat. Goal kick us and....Howard wallops a hopeful and Madine wins a free kick. Spearing and....and...keeper grabs it. Four to go and the cunning plan is floundering (oops, sorry) due to a Mox up. Now then, they have a corner, Madine clears, they grab and ....sheesh, we almost go two down as Howard has to make a classy save. This will not do lads....

We're 2nd best since goal. Moxey tried chesting down got robbed. Wheather didn't stop ball in but should've been cleared.
They just nearly scored again.

Howard wallops, Davies goes and.....and....the machine backheels a hoofer and they clear. COME ON WHITES.......Let's go in level at least, we're top of the league..ffs. And....Madine and Woolery manage a mix up. 3 mins added and if we ever needed a goal.....Moxey and....cleared and Beevers does the business. Put these Kippers in their box lads, come on.

The Kippers charge at us and....win a free kick. Bad words about the beloved Whites in the mic box. Rev up the ante lads, it isn't Radcliffe Sunday League.........and.....we give away a throw by shoddiness. Lemon time....1-0 the Kippers.

Dreadful first half performance throughout the team. Literally nothing good to say about anyone.

However it can only get better surely?

Last season tells us it could get worse.

Pedestrian and long ball rubbish. Fleetwood's front 3 working our back 4 hard and then getting 11 behind the ball when they lose possession. And yes. Moxey is a bellend

Well that was a disgraceful 45. Porcelain Clough out again. Not strong enough to make it sadly. Moxey at fault. Accident waiting to happen. Madine his usual self. Can't see how we will score.

Not as bad as some are making out. We miss Proctor and have very little up front. Trotter is poor and Mark Davies has gone missing.

Basically without some more pace in forward areas we will struggle especially at home.
