Phew. I’ll take that. Parky was starting to run out of excuses for a lack of goals again, or at least as appears to be the case twice a season. Hopefully that’s doidge off as well now and he can start chipping in.

Donaldson is a clumsy menace. He did their heads in all game. So glad he played a part in the goal.

Decent goal that equaliser. Good persistence from the don and great finish. Kind of goal you wouldn’t get with 1 up top.
There goal though...Alnwick looks suspect.

According to the Yorkshire Post ( ah, that explains it) match report we should have been severely tonked and were very lucky to get out of jail and earn a point.(We didn't actually earn it of course, it was gifted to us). Now I only heard the game, but it didn't sound like a massacre to me, and I would be very grateful for a brief (or extensive) match resume. Anybody willing?
Si Deus pro nobis, quis contra nos?

Happy with this result!
Missing a penalty, then them gaining the initiative, it look liked a defeat. Sounds like we showed some fight to come back, good to see Doidge getting off the mark too. Having just the seen the goal, decent finish.
Rotherham are terrible in attack, but having seen a couple of their home games on the red button, they are really energetic in midfield and always seem to be competitive. Not a bad point.
Interested to hear from any matchgoers. Onwards and hopefully upwards.

Out of curiosity, why've you been voluntarily choosing to watch Rotherham?bristol_Wanderer3 wrote: ↑Sat Oct 20, 2018 8:57 pmHappy with this result!

Nice compact Stadium that, first time I've been. Anyway, unfortunately now I have to come to comment on the match. We were not good it was awful to watch and personally we were fortunate to come away with a point. But a point we got and I came away a very relieved fan.

Why not, they were the team I knew the least about And the last time they were playing Bristol City who I kind of take slightly more interest in than most other teams apart from us.

Steve Parkin on why Oz was left out: “We just felt the game would pass him by a bit, to be honest. We were a bit concerned about the physicality of it and we’ve got three games in seven days, so it’s important we’ll flip things around. He has trained well since Saturday.”

Not much of a vote of confidence when your manage thinks a game against Rotherham will pass you by lol

With the hoof football served up on Saturday, Parkin's quote about Oztumer was spot on. It would have been a waste of time for him. These "quotes" recently in the BN are ridiculous, especially the one which stated Gary O'Neill was our "attacking" option on Saturday!

Parky is spot on. Rotherham are physical and there was no point playing Oztumer.
I'd not start him tonight either!
