A boot up The Cobblers? Northampton away, Tues Oct first 19-45.

Some stupid tackles flying around. We're 2-0 up. Lets not do something silly.

That being said, loving the commitment and effort levels. Put in this sort of physicality against the top teams and we'll do well.

That was not a good challenge from Schon. He’s very lucky there. Very lucky.
Yeah. Silly too. No need for it.

Incredible that wasn’t a red. A proper 90s tackle 😂

Looked a certain red, that.
I’m pleased the ref was poor, because that was a red if ever I’ve seen one. Poor refereeing in our favour on this occasion.

Sorry chaps, couch is clearly not liking the weather.

Don't know what the issue is. I'll try and sort it for the 2nd half.

Ah in the same box as Tommo and their lad. They look bad but only a booking. Got to be careful now though.. Didn't need to make it.

Been good this. They've helped. Really high line we can just chip it into the wind. But we've had runners in behind and played the conditions perfectly so far.

But two really good goals. Quality.

Keep the foot down.

Warning signs. Sheehan needs to do more off the ball in midfield in those areas.

You're off your head. He's been top. Running it again in these conditions, great ball for Tommo. Always picking up the pieces.

Seems like the majority of players are looking rejuvenated. Not sure about Collins though. He's trying things, a lot of which aren't coming off. He's a confidence player and i'm sure it'll come good, but balls to him and one's he's battling for seem like somewhat of a shadow of what he can muster. Like McAtee, its a matter of time.

When we start trying to pass it round the back and slow things down going backwards and sideways we look dreadful.

When we play forward quickly with intent we look like scoring.

It’s fine to try and take the sting out and slow it down but it’s pretty clear when we look in trouble and it’s mainly our own making.

He's been excellent, yeah. His defensive read in their last build up was top class.

Collins with a near on immediate example as to what I was talking about with the ball getting stuck under his feet. Think the lad just needs to relax a touch.

As for Schon. It very much looks like it's time for Williams to get a run out before he gets sent off. Think Schon is one questionable complaint away from getting sent off.

Really enjoyed that. I want us to be clever and we've been thick a lot recently. Played that perfectly. Now we've got to keep the energy up. Really strong wind means we can keep them in. But if we go to our typical can't get out back 5 it could get tricky.

Schon had a mad half. Really good at times. Really daft at others. Foul throws have to be a fine?

But aggressive, clever. Bob on.

I think it's a case of trying to identify problem areas. Sheehan has done more good than bad in that half and I think he's been great so far, but it all depends what you see in the match. Easy to miss the good stuff at times. I can't remember who passed it to Thomason for the second goal. I'm hearing Sheehan.

Yup Sheehan: https://x.com/bwfcbwfc/status/1841194050709324137

As for any Collins criticism. His movement opened up some space for Dempsey to get his shot off. Like I said, it's easy to miss the goodstuff.

It was specifically referencing the chance they created. But on the ball Sheehan has been fine. Not brilliant but fine. Off the ball he still for me doesn’t do enough to protect the back three at times. He’s deep lying but I don’t think impacts the game enough off the ball sometimes in those areas.

The chip over the top for the goal - no complaints.

Nobody is having a bad game thankfully.
