South of the border. A trip away to Stevenage, Tues 29th Oct, 19-45.

Where fellow sufferers gather to share the pain, longing and unrequited transfer requests that make being a Wanderer what it is...

Feck's sake. If we didn't have bad luck, we'd have no luck.
We have too many injuries it’s not just down to bad luck
Forrester - falling down the stairs.
Thomason - stretching to block a cross in training.
Toal - simply running after a football.

You can argue all you like that the club as a whole are responsible because we're signing players with hamstrings like old rubber bands, but not everything is a conspiracy. Sometimes we really are just unlucky.

Dempsey - injured every 6 games he plays!
Rico looked shagged for about 2/3 months last year
Maybe it’s overtraining I dunno! It feels like we have more than is normal!

I take it the first 20 mins was better than this?

Stockport beating Reading 3-1. Good for tonight's league table. Interesting for next week.

Yeah but that’s because they are playing well, good outfit this lot I think.

Infinitely. Since then we've just looked completely off radar.

Can’t really complain about much, bar Toal’s injury, in that half. That said, Stevenage don’t look completely dead and buried, so we’ll need to maintain our concentration.

I'd agree with this. Seems like cruise control here.

I think we’re defending well. Need more from the front three to help us keep the ball up top. I think that tomlinson(?) in the middle for them is a good player. Reid is a handful but santos looks comfortable.

Stevenage looking threatening without really creating much - probably similar to how a lot of our early-season opponents described us. Definitely a much more direct side.

Gutted for Toal. That'll be him out until Christmas. Hope Geth's back soon. And Forino.

Yes, Gethin jones. Hope he is back soon. Bit worried about what his injury actually is. Forino is Xmas isn’t he?

Forgot about Forino. Like Osei-Tutu it feels like we signed them and then they disappeared.

Toal, Forino, Osei-Tutu, Jones. We've got the makings of a decent back four there all likely to be out.

Reasonably decent midtable league one outfit we've got unavailable:

Baxter,
Jones, Toal, Forino, Osei Tutu, Conway
Thomason, Dempsey, Khumbeni, Morley
Nlundulu,

Very impressed with the midfield in that first half. Some great pressing and passing from those three. Collins frustrating me a bit.

Would bring Lolos on for Collins soon personally. He’s definitely the least ‘up for it’. If they get one back we’ll be in for a hell of a battle.

I suspect once Collins get's that goal or assist it'll be him off and flying. He's very much giving off the impression as Mr. Casual at the moment.

Getting a bit careless now. Maybe some subs required to reinvigorate us.

Already got one versus Burton.

Or do you mean this game?
