I imagine he won't be trying any funny stuff now.
I'm more interested in Le Fondre, who is on his way if you believe Twittereres, which I'm going to given my desperation for a signing.
He can join the illustrious ranks of SuperJohn and SKD by becoming a Wanderers hero after scoring a hattrick against us. I witnessed both of theirs, but fortunately not his in the 7-1 debacle. Delighted if he signs.

Le Fondre is a good striker.

Since he's coming from Cardiff as Mason is being sent back, I guess he's pretty much a replacement.

he has a pretty phenomenal goal-scoring record that he has kept up over a few clubs... He'd be a name to redeem this thread... would we be going for BOTH Alfie and Commons - or is this and either/or scenario?

Pretty much every time I've seen them since Pulis took over they've played Chamakh at no.10, with pace either side. Chungy's going to look like Messi!
Yeah, but what about Pardew?

As for ALF - I may be wrong but he seems to me to be best in a front two rather than alone. DJ Campbell was usually a willing runner and scored a few - sort of a scrawnier, faster Cravies. Considering the unknowns we've been trialling this week, you'd imagine Lennon would at least ponder it.

I reckon both. Le Fondre is going to be a loan signing (I think), whereas Lennon will want to tie Commons down for 2 years.

Yeah, Le Fondre is good.

Is Chungy definitely on his way to Palace or just bullshit?
You can judge the whole world on the sparkle that you think it lacks.
Yes, you can stare into the abyss, but it's staring right back.

I think Le Fondre AND Commons would redeem the thread and restore Bijou's lustre!

as it is spoken on the thread - so may it be in real life!

According to SKY, Ben Watson is signing for Watford from Wigan on a permanent basis, does this mean that Spearing is now not going????
Sky also running with the Chungy to Palace story, they're saying £1.5m with add-ons???

I wouldn't go that far Bish, we're upto 31 pages and only Heskey has come in. I'm still not convinced that the Le Fondre/Commons stories are actually true and think they are an eloborate PR Stunt from Bijou to try and redeem his disasterous thread and keep the Pitchforks/Bedsheets at bay

Lennon's been reluctant to let Spearing go whilst our squad is 'thin' so it looks like the Watford deal is definitely over now that Watson has gone.

I'm not too bothered personally, I'd rather keep Spearing

according to the mail they are 'believed to be baulking' at his £30k pw wage demands, but I guess once those negotiations are sorted, yes
