The oracle has spoken again. Has anyone seen James Forest play?

Bolton boss Owen Coyle made a spying trip to watch Celtic’s exciting young winger James Forrest last night as he prepares for a signing spree.

Coyle is weighing up a bid for the 20-year-old after being blocked in a move to extend Benfica striker Rodrigo Moreno's loan spell for another season.

I've only seen him in highlights, but he looked fairly tricky.

That said, most people who have played in Scotland are complete mince, so I'd avoid

That's a smokescreen.
Coyle went up there for an interview. Lennon is quitting at the end of the season.

Happened across a supposedly ITK rumour on that Bolton Wanderers facebook page the other day, stating that we're apparently after Jermaine Defoe...

I've heard that.

Also that Taylor is off to Wolves and if Swansea don't go up we'll pay £4m for Scott Sinclair.

There is a news story there that contains a 'Nolan' and 'Brest', and not a single one of you has made the joke.

I'm not angry, no, not angry at you all, I'm just...well, I'm disappointed.

Also Jermain Defoe? I hate the cnut, with a passion, and he is massively overrated by the media, and himself, but at the Reebok? Yes fecking please. Scott Sinclair would be good too. Ta.

surely any deal for jermain defoe would involve cahill joining spurs and us conceding we wont be signing sturridge on a permanent deal?

Sturridge won't come on a permanent deal, he's already talking about breaking into Chelsea team next year. also can't see Defoe coming either. Sinclair is a possibility.

From the guy who said Anelka would never join us ... so what do I know ? .... there is NO chance Sturridge will sign for us on a perm basis. Good possibility for another loan tho. Especially if Elmander goes ... the two seem to loathe each other.

Defoe ... he MUST be on £60k pw, minimum. Probably more. Sochances are low. Yes, a dislikable scrote, but can score goals & has pace.

The good Championship players, yes, we'll get a couple. A Celtic player ? Really ? Little above Division 3 really.

Seems Coyle wants to keep moving us to fast ball-playing youngsters. Interesting.
Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

Scott Sinclair? Really? Looks to me like a classic case of "good at championship level" but far less likely to make it in the premiership.

Would not be one for me.

If he does go I would rather he did join another Prem team. Defoe rumour could be true but I don't know if

a) He would come up North
b) We could afford his wages

More money in the coffers, as long as we bring in a better replacement

He's out of contract, so no money - although we'd cut his (probably quite low) wages from the bill. Norwich might be about right, good luck to him, let's just hope we find (and can afford) better. (Apologies if you weren't referring to Cohen, TK)
