Re: TKIZ's impossibly brilliant all new Transfer Rumours thr
'Boyata should be straighforward'
'Boyata should be quick'
Lots of modal verbs in there. 'Should be quick' in relation to SWP or Ngog, perhaps? Or because it would be a loan? Either way he didnt say anthing about formality or being a done deal. I think i drew that conclusion, doesnt mean he stated it. And with PG on his followers list, he wouldnt get away with anything Uncle Phil wouldnt like putting out there.

It's all part of the dance anyway.
None of this is providing a public service when all's said and done...it's titilation, it's supply & demand, it's entertainment.

hoping for some good news this week am I being optimistic?ohjimmyjimmy wrote:Either way he didnt say anthing about formality or being a done deal.
No. Boyata should be straightforward.
will any transfers be complete this week or will they be left last minute?
Boyata should be quick.
I fail to see how you could draw any other conclusions.

N'Gog is bound to be political.
The prospect of him banging in a hat-trick in front of those Scandinavian wankers on the Kop must be too painful for bollock-face to contemplate

I think he said something like Boyata should be straightforwards. Which it may still be. But as I say things change. What is the case one day changes the next. Tuncay came out of nowhere apparently.BL3 wrote:They're not just 'rumours' though are they? He tweeted the other day that the Boyata deal was pretty much a formality when according to the BN article you've just quoted, OC said I am not any further on than I was from Sunday That seems to suggest that Nixon jumped the gun.TKIZ! wrote:Exactly, we don't lose anything because it gets the fans behind OC IMHO. It shows even if it's a rumour that OC is trying to bring in a certain type of player. I think it's great to see and can only be good for the club
It's not 'good for the club' if he reveals that we're on the verge of signing someone, only for them to join someone else. Supporters might perceive this as the club snatching defeat from the jaws of victory, when in reality we might not have been that close to signing them anyway.

Go on then i'll humour you. What other 'conclusions' could be drawn from his tweets, other than that the deal was a formality? (leaving aside the obvious conclusion that he just makes it up as he goes along)ohjimmyjimmy wrote:Fck me.

People draw their own conclusions...ones you draw may not be the same as ones other people draw, no?BL3 wrote:Go on then i'll humour you. The very fact that you read that as saying its a formality, howver, does not mean he said it was a formality...which, lets hope this isnt messy, is 'what you said he said' . Or did i draw the wrong conclusion from the bit where you said he said it was a formality?
See how boring this gets when we keep going backwards & forwars like this?

@JayJay2345 Part of it is that Liverpool unlikely to do deal before game. Understandable. But Bolton could find someone else before then

Sounds like a proper tryer doesn't he, kissing up to Nixon.
