Insano's the obvious choice.
Although obviously I could do it in normal circumstances, lately I'm paralysed by sheer panic (as demonstrated by not being able to put all the necessary words into a single easy sentence).

But just to keep you in the loop, I'm not the only one. In fact Marc Iles doesn't know if they've gone yet, or rather he knows that Neil Lennon doesn't know whether either will be available for tomorrow... Would it be simplistic to summarise ?
The club going into Admin which the forum [when I asked in another thread] told me couldn't possibly happen because of our financial arrangements with ED is happening on Wednesday.. ?

A few (inc Nixon) have said that it's £2m rising to £3m if Zach's a good boy, plays for England, tidies his room etcthrowawayboltonian wrote:Update on Clough. Official twatter feed for Bristol City confirm they've had a bid accepted for Clough, but it's for £2m not the reported £3m.

Been told this morning from a very good source, that Mavies deal may be off as they don't want to match his £20k/week wages.
Clough doesn't want to go to Bristol City and will hold out if they try to force him. Let's hope so!

Re: Spotty's Seriously Sub-standard Second Rate Transfer Thr
What usually then happens is that the agent/player goes back to the selling club to see if they'll top up his wages. So if Wednesday offer £12kpw, he could ask us to pay £8kpw or he'd be quite within his rights to sit out the contract we signed with him. It happens quite a lot when clubs try to force players out.Burnden Paddock wrote:Been told this morning from a very good source, that Mavies deal may be off as they don't want to match his £20k/week wages.
At which (hypothetical) point we have to ask whether it's worth us paying £8kpw for him - or, over the remaining 18 months of his contract, £600,000 - to not play for us.

No you're wrong.. I was told categorically so on here last week for suggesting the same as you.. They were ITK about the club never going into Admin too, so you're definitely wrongDave Sutton's barnet wrote:What usually then happens is that the agent/player goes back to the selling club to see if they'll top up his wages.
