Precisely. It's a particularly distasteful image, given its historical origin, and that's where my issue lies. What I find unbelievable is the willingness of people to defend it because they, personally, find it funny. I'd have more respect for those people if they were just honest and said "Yes, it is a bit racist, but I find it funny", rather than trying to justify it and deny the racist associations it has, regardless of context.
