hi there, i'm chris wrote:Birmingham fan I know has said there is big talk about Scott Dann coming to us.

I mentioned this idea a month ago or so, but it got shot down. Would be a fantastic replacement for Cahill.
hmmm... except we still have Cahill...

Scott Dann > Gary Cahill. Would be an absolute masterstroke if we could pull that off.

He says the transfer is dependant on us selling Cahill.

You're these knobbers that think Cahill's worth £17m, aren't you?

Of course, you'd hold exactly the same opinion if he didn't play for us, wouldn't you?

I am one of those very people.

If managers think that Henderson is worth £20m or Phil Jones is worth £18m or even Alex Chamberlain is £12m then why not £17m for Cahill?

Whatever Cahill is or isn't worth he is still better than Dann.

Dann is cheaper than our Gary and still Arsenal want Cahill over him!

Because he's 25 and only has 10 months left on his contract. Do the 'Math'!

Spurs are currently bottom of the Premier League (or Division 1, if you prefer). According to your line of thinking then we should tell Modric that he's not good enough for us in light of our lofty position! :conf:

The great thing about Modric is that he driving Our 'Arry round the bend....
