Standard Spurs innit, overpay for people, then try to get your money back. Look at poor Roman :D

Nah I think he'd rather just see any team, us included give Spurs a lot of money for their reserves.

Can't see us getting him.

Can't say I'd be massively dissapointed if we didn't. Always looks a decent player but never seemed to do it in the premiership....can't see him being the spark to keep us up. Having said that I thought the same about Wilshere, so you never know!

bastard, was staring at that for ages trying to get the joke. thought a Keeper must've been a species of fish and Santos a variety of keeper, been on wiki and everything...

Seems a bit ridiculous to demand same money for a player who's played very little. But agree Pru, typical Spuds
Pfffft.

Redknapp wants to spend; Levy wants to raise money through sales. With a fortnight left they'll ask more than they would with an hour left. Possible late loanee, we'll see.

Mind you, in the latest press conference Coyle's saying he has no interest in Dos Santos. Ooh, there's going to be a frosty atmosphere over dinner tonight at Casa Coyle/Nixon/Insane

The quote on the sky website from Coyle was sommat like "he's a very good player, I haven't spoken to him, but he's a talented player, but there are many of those".

Didn't sound like an outright denial.

Nixons article said "bolton are preparing a bid" whatever that means...

I'm willing to bet that like Hoilett this deal won't get very far. Nixon seems to be saying we are trying to get indications from the players (Hoilett and Santos) that they would be keen.....I reckon thats where it ends...

Dos Santos would be an alright signing if we had more cash and first got a central midfield player and a fullback. As it is, I would say we should stay away.

Why didnt we ask about the New drogba,

Chelsea striker Romelu Lukaku, 18

http://www.espn.co.uk/football/sport/story/131133.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

we may have asked and they turned us down, but i suspect we didnt bother asking.

We can't loan him this season as we already had Kakuta this season.

And Im sure you aren't suggesting we buy him.

Nixon suggested we have a list of Chelsea players we can choose from to loan next season as part of the Cahill deal. Lukaku was one of those....

He's already played for two different clubs this season so wouldn't be able to play for a third.

And we can't take a second Chelsea loan this season....

I thought it was more to do with a calender year, rather than a season?

I would have that Jack Robinson from Liverpool on loan. Looked a damn sight better than our own Robbo when he played for them last year.

Lukaku has apparently looked cumbersome and poor in reserve matches

Call me Desperate Dan but I've just noticed that the Guinea captain Pascal Feindouno is unattached

He's 30, right-winger/striker, played in French Ligue Un for most of his career, has just left Swiss side Sion 'cos they've had 36pts deducted by the Swiss FA

Short-term contract, mayhap? Nah, he isn't a teenager in Iberia

Bet Willie McKay's offering him to Sam right now
