I'm telling you, we won't sign anyone. We will have tried, though, and it's the trying that counts.

I can't believe people are still quoting that cock Nixon.BWFC_Insane wrote:A Bolton fan just tweeted Nixon that he thouht we were supposed to be signing NGog today.
The response was 'Supposed is a very good word'. I fear my early suspicions may be confirmed!

He's probably not very good, I haven't seen enough of him. But he is a winger who we could get and who would be cheap. He'd at least be a body on the bench.thebish wrote:Tombwfc wrote: Anyway, a loan from Chelsea is a decent shout, given they have about a dozen forwards. I'm sure we'll go back to beg again for Sturridge at some point tommorow, but Kakuta might be more realistic.
he went on loan to fulham at the last january window. is there a reason he only made 7 appearances?
Would be shocked if we went for it though, not least because we're nothing if not persistent/unimaginative with our transfer targets, and I think we'll leave the door open to try again for Sturridge in January.

Get in there, Coyley.
maybe... just maybe.... he's the awesome top striker from a wet-your-panties big club that Nixon has been dangling in front of blackburn fans all day... he has persisted in his "shhh-don't-tell" routine that they have an exciting striker signing in the balance...

Would that (kakutaloan)preclude Sturridge though (as academic as it is as i agree its doubtful) as i thought it was only long term loans you couldnt make from the same clubs.

According to The Oracle, Dingles tried to loan N'Gog and it's been rejected. Do you reckon something else is holding it up?

Iles is hinting that it may be the same issue Sunderland had, personal terms. If they couldn't agree them guess it makes sense we couldn't.TKIZ! wrote:According to The Oracle, Dingles tried to loan N'Gog and it's been rejected. Do you reckon something else is holding it up?

This is what gets me about the modern footballer, if he's not getting a game at Bindippers surely he would just low his wage demands to play football?

I dunno. I've previously been paid to basically sit around with my thumb up my arse. As boring as it was, I'd not have taken a pay cut to actually do some work.TKIZ! wrote:This is what gets me about the modern footballer, if he's not getting a game at Bindippers surely he would just low his wage demands to play football?

Where is that from? I'd probably take Jerome as an additional option over the zero backup we have now!TKIZ! wrote:I hope we haven't though BWFCi, I doubt at this late stage OC has a back up plan
