Not three points, not a clean sheet, but it's not a loss. Three games unbeaten. Sounds like we've played alright except for a couple of defensive lapses, but that's what Dougies gotta sort out, and it's not like that mire can get sorted in a couple of weeks. Going to be a long time coming, that.

Got to agree Bish, lost count of times we've been in lead and lost points.
Got to tighten that defence up before we can go forward.

I'll stick a positive spin on it.

Unbeaten for 3 games for the first time this season against teams that have once sat at the top of the table this year.

Point at Blackpool not really something to celebrate too much I don't think. Especially with Palace, Middlesbrough and Cardiff all winning and disappearing over the horizon..

Setting those sights high. Im keeping this glass half full anyway. I'm going to blank the two conceded today out of mind because we are tighter and our back 4 picks itself. Probably should have won today but it's still progress.A point away.

They'll all have their wobbly spells. Anyway, best not to think about automatic promotion, playoffs are much more feasible

Meh, its a point more than at 3 o'clock.

A reasonable point. Freedmans on borrowed time!

not a terrible point but need to start clocking up wins to climb the table. disappointed that we blew the lead twice though.

I predicted before the match started that with Petrov, Eagles and Mark Davies all starting we'd have to score 2 to get anything and that was how it turned out.

To be solid away from home we can't have 3 who won't battle in the midfield.Only 2 of those 3 can be in the team if we want a run of wins away from home.

Holding any side to a draw when they get a new manager is an achievement in itself. Palace have had two separate managers this year and both have won their first game in charge. We've had two separate managers and both of them have won their first game. Ipswich won their first game under Big Mick. It happens all the time in football and it was something I thought would see Blackpool beat us, but thankfully that didn't happen.

I do think it was a point gained rather than two lost. I'd have taken a draw before the game, partly because I expected a good first game under Appleton for them.

There's work to do for us but I think we're on the right track.

Early days...points fine. We'd deffo of lost under Coyle. I'm hanging my hat on that, no matter what the pedant says. Shame we shiped equalisers twice but this is a massive mess for the Dougster to sort. Incremental improvements.

Interesting no Butterfield!
