Glad we're holding our ground on this I'd hate to pander to 'Boros requests...
I'd rather support Bolton than be you.

I guess they've got to try and get back some of the £3.5m they spent on Michael Ricketts!

I will be very relieved when we have another centre half and for me the price is right. I'd like to see the Argentinian lad come in too.For a team that can't defend we've been woefully short of options.
Re: david wheater
Daily Mail has released the same story twice suggesting that Wheater deal is close with a fee amended at £2.5m at 1.55pm on Newsnow
Pfffft.

The suspense is killing me.
The players you fail to sign never lose you any money.

Apparently Chelsea declined our 2.25 million offer for John Terry, though he did express a long held love for the north west and close bonds with Greater manchester based footballers and their partners.
Re: david wheater
Deal for Wheater to be finalised today, according to a reliable source.*

Whether he is from the championship or not is surely irrelevant?

Re: david wheater
We have a team that's currently 7th - so pretty good in comparison with how much money we have - and £100m in debt. If we can get additional cover for our CM's, this has to be a good thing, no?aussie_wanderer wrote:i agree woopty doo signing a player from championshipGeneral Mannerheim wrote:Sooooo exciting the imminent arrival of our new bench warmer...
