Petrov, CYL, Rodrigo, Klasnic - all capable of changing a game from the bench. Hopefully for the better...

(ICB - it could be Sturridge wide right, but I hope not - we need pace up front to stretch the game and keep Sours on the back foot)

Cop out that I feel by Coyle. Wants to incorporate Sturridge, but hasn't the balls to drop either striker. Don't see the benefit sticking Elmander out wide right.

No lose as far as I see. If it gives CYL a rest, and Sturridge plays well, he may have the impetus to drop either of our strikers (with the money being on Elmo) for the next game.

I have a sneak that Davies might start on the right today, btw.

I'd love to see us go to 4-3-3 with Elmo/Davies & Sturidge slotting in to make a 5 man midfield when we're defending

Nice having Wheater in reserve, but, with Steeinsson out, I'd like to have seen maybe Alonso on the bench as a spare defender in case of injury, always unpredictable. Very gung-ho aproach, as has been said, but a bit of caution needed. If it works it'll be great and there's still Klasnic and CYL in reserve up front. Interesting, but I'd like to have seen another striker with fresh legs as a sub... All three of Davies, Elmander and Sturridge will either be knackered by the end or defending too much which nullifies our sub options down the middle a bit. Maybe have kept one of them back with Klasnic for if we're behind second half. As always, trust OC and hope for the best.

one of the front two needed a tracksuit imv... CYL and Strurridge were what was best about us on Weds.. Elmo was better than SKD but spuds never know how to deal with King Kev.. So it's a toss up...
Always got the CYL was knackered... I suppose... hard to see if he was fit for 70 mins in the week..
Are we in League 2 yet - Three seasons and we'll be away to Chesham

Had Welbeck played that along the floor to Davo rather than dink it, it would have been a better chance. Then there's the fact Kev could have hit it first time....

Anyone else feel this is going to be one of the games where Clattenburg totally loses control?

clattenburg sounds nicely in control of things as per

said in hindsight but think coyle may have gone a teeny bit too attacking here
