just had word that Tom is looking at 12 weeks out so much better news than first feared, oh and the reserves got battered 4 : 1 by Lancaster this afternoon :(

12 week? Could have been a lot worse. Let's hope we can loan him out before Christmas, and then see what happens during the 2nd half of the season.

Can see it being about March before he's back. Can't see us wanting to rush him back for the Christmas period seeing as it would probably do more damage than good.

Meanwhile, Coyle has confirmed striker Tom Eaves has escaped cruciate ligament damage, following an injury against Orlando, and is likely to only be sidelined for six weeks.

"We've had the scans and we don't think there has been any major damage," he said. "We're looking at one or two months as opposed to nine to 12, so obviously we're absolutely delighted."
