This year was the "we'll get it sorted year". It was clear to most of us, even during the pre-season, that we were (still) a shambles. Although pre-season was able to be put down as 'it's not about results', but about shape, formation, fitness.

Trouble was that never seemed to explain it.

He took the club beyond a simple cure. He took players beyond a couple of weeks to sort out & we left it far, far too long to deal with it.

Freedman, Phillips, McCarthy, bloody Alex Ferguson would take some extraordinary effort to turn the ship.

We all knew he'd fckd us up. Just don't think many realised what a complete job he'd done.

Dougie has his work cut out, we just can sit back & support him.
