When I think back to the organisation of Rioch's team that got us promoted, the sheer ability of Todd's, and the will to win of Allardyce's - then I look at this bugger's muddle and think............. we haven't a prayer.the-Bowtun-Warrior wrote:After a few days off the message board, I've stumbled across this thread. There are a lot of bitter Palace fans and the reaction and arguments are still going on today. I think a lot of the negativity from Palace fans was that in their eyes Dougie walked out for money whilst we were at the time much higher in the league than you, for them it was hard to wrap their heads around it.
Fair point. Apologies Freedman9.
Dougie really is and will be a fantastic manager, off the pitch he is a scientist and given time for him to implement his strategies and coaching style it will click into place, you are already reaping small rewards. If you don't go up this season, next year will be no doubt up there again.
Time will tell ....

It's just been pointed out that Middlesbrough (one place but five points behind us) are only one point further away from the drop zone than they are from the play-offs.
Which is mildly interesting.

No win in 9 for Leicester now.. I'm sure we will do our usual charity when we play them on Tuesday.bobo the clown wrote:http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/22036929

If Brighton and Forest both lose, then we could go 5th by tomorrow evening.

Notice no one is is criticising the referee for giving Birmingham a last minute penalty, which was outside the box. Should of been a free kick, and Probably a Leicester win if he hadn't.

Just annoys me when people on here slated referee in Charlton game when we didn't get the rub of the green in decisions, then ignores the fact that decision may take a play off place from Leicester and give it to someone else.truewhite15 wrote:Could we care less?gizmothevoomer wrote:Notice no one is is criticising the referee for giving Birmingham a last minute penalty, which was outside the box. And yes I know what cost play off place is Leicesters crap form in last two months not one decision, but we got lucky tonight withouyt stepping on the park. And in our position being lucky is like gold at this time of season.

It's all getting too much.
Launching off the couch shouting PENALTY for Birmingham bloody city?
Then pacing the lounge waiting for it to be took.
Facing the wrong way when it was.
Knee sliding on the carpet when it went in...
Too much. Doomed!

All part of the game G. Remember the goal we didn't get against Everton? That wasn't a play-off case, it was relegation. Some you win.....gizmothevoomer wrote: Just annoys me when people on here slated referee in Charlton game when we didn't get the rub of the green in decisions, then ignores the fact that decision may take a play off place from Leicester and give it to someone else.

So why are you whinging? I see the double-standards, but we're not neutrals here, not when decisions can help us even if we're not playing.gizmothevoomer wrote:Just annoys me when people on here slated referee in Charlton game when we didn't get the rub of the green in decisions, then ignores the fact that decision may take a play off place from Leicester and give it to someone else.truewhite15 wrote:Could we care less?gizmothevoomer wrote:Notice no one is is criticising the referee for giving Birmingham a last minute penalty, which was outside the box. If we sneak into the playoffs courtesy of a scabby, offside goal that bounced in via the attackers hand and the goalie's arse, I can't see you launching a petition to the FA asking that they take us out of the playoffs cos "it's just not sporting, old chap".
