Which will be Eddie Davies fault. If only we'd sign Nixon to write the front page of our programme we'd be alright. But Evil Count Gartside has stolen the money-printing press and used it to nobble all our young players with squad numbers above eleven. As I recall. To be honest, I'm totally confused.

It's a derby game anything can happen. But if we have a full team out then I'm more confident than I was when it looked like being a scratch team!

Must be the sports science!

arse!! that'll be one less excuse to play with...
If we can keep our first team players off the injury table and broadly fully fit for the season then we should make a play off place with it. And there aren't excuses if we don't.

However, that is a big if.
so - now we're not totally and completely fecked??

Scuse confusion, who are the long-termers? Or to be more pertinent, who's available?

dougie's words are:
“We are fully fit tomorrow and I have always said we have a strong squad when everybody is fit.

“Everybody is available tomorrow which is very pleasing and I am looking forward to the game.”
I presume he doesn't mean that!! 8)

elsewhere he says:
“The only players we’re missing at the moment are Stuart Holden, Mark Davies and young Joe Riley,” he said. “We’re in a good position with injuries right now and it is very pleasing to be able to say that.
so - reports of ream, wheater, davies and tierney all being seriously wounded were hysterical nonsense...

We only have 11 players. The rest make a scratch team !
When, earlier, I said I broadly agreed with you, I unreservedly withdraw that statement and declare that you are a nutter of the first order. I now understand why you so proudly wear the badge of the insane.

Well if the injuries reported had been true it would probably have been square pegs in round holes or throw a few kids in.

Neither would have been particularly comfortable to watch I'd wager.

First 11 still might not. But I'm fairly sure they'll give us more of a chance.

It's a squad. They can either play, or not. It's a bit '.....'* to claim only 11 of them can only play at the level they are employed at.

Sorry, I know there's word that'll fit * , but I cannot think of it. ( ingenious, maybe )

Alright then, all in (bar OldenMaviesRiley), what team would you pick for tomorrow?

Bogdan; Mears, Wheater, Mills, Tierney; Medo, Spearing (c); Lee, Pratley, Eagles; Beckford
Subs Ngog, Cravies, Moritz, Hall, Vela, Ream, Lonergan

Tempted to start with a more passing/creative attacking midfielder than Prats but hey, the bloke's scored our only two league goals, the two either side of him can come off their wings to create, the full-backs can overlap and we can look to bring on Moritz and Hall if inspiration fades...

Have I missed anyone out?

With Eagles back in the side I will go for 1-2 to the whites. We will go 2 up and then concede with around 20 to go..

They will love Eagles after THAT goal and THAT celebration in the last minute of THAT game! 8)

Well I wish they'd make their minds up .... I've already bought a new tie for Cravies' funeral.
Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

I'd go
----------------------Bogdan----------------------
--Baptiste-----Knight----------Ream--------Tierney
----------------Medo-------Spearing-----------------
---------------------Pratley-------------------------
------Ngog-----------------------------------Eagles
---------------------Beckford-------------------------

Rhodes is pacey in't he? Ream's the only defender with an ounce of pace. I'm sick of Lee he doesn't create anything, same could be said for Ngog but he does run past people.

But what do I know

Puts it into perspective. too much perspective.

I hadn't appreciated that our away form was so poor. Its a bit of a worry if our home form of last season doesn't keep up. Bloody hell.
