Re: Capital 1 cup 2nd round
I just think football was a lot better in previous times then it is now, alternatively I could just spend all of my free time at home on my own feeling sorry for myself...
The above post is complete bollox/garbage/nonsense, please point this out to me at any and every occasion possible.
Re: Capital 1 cup 2nd round
you do what you like, dan - it's your life... but football isn't a very good mistress to spend your whole life on!bwfcdan94 wrote:I just think football was a lot better in previous times then it is now, alternatively I could just spend all of my free time at home on my own feeling sorry for myself...
it isn't simply a straight choice between:
1. give my whole life to football
2. sit at home on my own feeling sorry for myself
really!

I'm going to go for no other reason than to get my dinner from this chippy that everyone seems to bang on about!Harry Genshaw wrote:It's the only ground in the north west that I haven't been to, but I'm not sure I can be arsed going there for a league cup tie. Depending on departure time, I may be in for this one, if that's ok. Driving back from Essex on the Tuesday morning. Hoping to be home for around 2.30 - 3pm.Bruce Rioja wrote:Nope, that's just the two of us to press.William the White wrote:Oh good! Course. I could even pick you up on my way home from work - that could make life a little easier.Burnden Paddock wrote: Depending on departure time, I may be in for this one, if that's ok. Driving back from Essex on the Tuesday morning. Hoping to be home for around 2.30 - 3pm.

Me too. £17.50 which is an odd price, but no sale details.Bruce Rioja wrote:Just had a look - NowtBurnden Paddock wrote:Cheers Bruce. When do tickets go on sale? if you guys are buying get me one. I'll pay £18 if you like. Almost 3% profit there.Burnden Paddock wrote:Me too. £17.50 which is an odd price, but no sale details.Bruce Rioja wrote:Just had a look - NowtBurnden Paddock wrote:Cheers Bruce. Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

I did a couple of 'ever present' seasons when i was Dans age, maybe a bit older? every league & cup home and away. i had a owd Fiat Uno that went everywhere! remember rattling that frigger down to Ipswich once! unlike Dan I had the benefit of liviing near by so could use the coaches, or preferably a pub minibus etc. good times... the passion no longer exists tho sadly.

Does a coach still run from outside The Albion to away matches? Good times indeed.General Mannerheim wrote:I did a couple of 'ever present' seasons when i was Dans age, maybe a bit older? every league & cup home and away. i had a owd Fiat Uno that went everywhere! remember rattling that frigger down to Ipswich once! unlike Dan I had the benefit of liviing near by so could use the coaches, or preferably a pub minibus etc. good times... the passion no longer exists tho sadly.

Crewe fan at our place said they initially put the prices online as £12 for adults, but 'somebody' ie; us, requested they sell them at a higher rate as we get a 50/50 gate split
