True, and given that he's our only winger that's a damning indictment.

Would rather test Woolery there. Pace, good work ethic and knows where the net is.

He might not have as much nouse as a wily fox like Taylor (what else would he offer), but he'll get up and down and actually WANT the ball

While I'd never celebrate a player's injury, I do feel for Woolery - under the last couple of managers he keeps coming on, looking threatening, scoring occasionally (albeit not much less frequently than the starters) but very rarely getting a start.

He's been in the matchday squad 34 times
started 5 (four of them in Jiminho's quasi-trialist teams)
come on 17 times
been left on the bench 22 times
played 671 minutes in total
played 272 minutes off the bench (average 16 mins per sub appearance)

scratch that - it's gonna rain - don't want to watch the whites get thrashed in wet leathers and then ride home in the rain! I'll be bringing the car - and I'll be wearing my JJ t-shirt...

Same team as the Wimbledon game. Only difference is Wilkinson replaces Clayton on the bench. Is Clayton injured?

Mic man reckons a tough one tonight but whispered hints of topping leagues and daft stuff like that....Sounds like some Whites fans might have been delayed. We go...

Sounds like a fancy dress comp with us going as Wolves. Yellow shirts, black shorts and socks... We have a dash at em from the off and....they clear. Rovers try an early visit and Wheater gets in their way. Back they come and...it's a goal kick us...Mic men have a chat. The dulcet tones of Zico send out advice and Spearing sees the balll out for a corner...and a header goes wide but offside anyway.

We try a sally but they clear and keep possesion. Wheater had to move a bit sharpish and they get another corner. Proctor gets an early mention and.....1-0..... :oyea: Vela....

Vela moved a bit nippy and we got a deflected goal. That'll do nicely Mr Vela....

Homers rally and sally. They have a bit of possession before ....we get a goal kick as Taylor (theirs) can't control the ball. Taylor again and....they get a free kick from distance. And......in it comes and....cleared before Mark Davies almost cocks up. Howard grabs it and clears. They come again and Trotter does well. Vela gets a free kick and.....micmen have a bit of a chat. They collar our goal kick and eventually the machine has a bit of argy bargy. Vela mentioned again, but this time to give them a free kick. Mic man got stung by a wasp today.....he says, and....the players grab a drink.

Sounds like Sinclair leaving the field for them? Temporary anyway. Wheater tied to play football......WHAT???? Zico gives advice and Harrison eventually wins a throw. Spearing clears to Madine and......he's given offside....Mark Davies, Proctor...and....we get a free on off a Madine foul on halfway. A few Whites passes then they collar it and sally forth. Beevers gets the good words off the mic men then we go forth....The homers sall at us and Mark Davies gives a free kick away. Buxton clears and then Wheater does the same. They have possesion and Buxton does well. Spearing now and...Buxton and Beevers clear.

Blackburn 2 goals down at Cardiff. Shane Duffy with 2 own goals, to add to the one he scored on Saturday!

Madine not happy but gets no joy from the ref. He gives away a free to them and mic men discuss other maters. Free kick us now intersparsed with a chat about rugby and stuff. I managed to make out Madine's name in a comment by Zico. They seem to be targetting Harison up front, but now we have a free as Vela gets a good evening. Free kick again, Madine wins this time and.....and.....and....Spearing is it?.....and....2-0...... :oyea: :oyea: :oyea: :oyea:
