People already speculating that Evatt has "lost faith" in Randell...after 4 games.
Not the half of it. He's benched our two new forwards as well.
Doubt he's lost faith. Randell showed he can deliver a decent cross. Probably putting him out of the firing line given he's started brightly, struggled fitness wise and lost some impact. Probably an easy option coming off the bench to attack when the opposition tires.

Can't tell if we're going 5 at the back or 4 at the back.
I suspect it'll be:

Johnston Toal Santos Jones Bradley

Looking a bit concerned at the bench though. Our defensive coverage is looking a little shocking here. If our CB's start tiring, who is going to cover. It's not like we've got decent defensive options on the bench.

John, Randell & Isgrove are all wide men which means a tired Johnston or Jones would have to come inside, and Isgrove and John have been out of contention for quite some time.

No N'lundulu, maybe us signing two strikers is probably the nod to say N'lundulu isn't up to it or we've got bigger concerns up top at the time.

Either way, bench is concerning.

Nlundulu is injured, Mar. Another week or so with a hamstring strain.

Tend to agree (ish) on the defensive side of the bench. We could certainly do with another centre back as a just-in-case body. Issue is, that's all that body would ever be. Fingers crossed we'll pull someone in who's happy to learn from the first teamers and is able to step in as necessary.

Fairly confident we'll be looking at defensive signings, we're not well stocked in that department and playing all our centre backs at one time just highlights this issue.

Nice to see Izzy back in contention, although this may be a swansong before he's off elsewhere, almost as if showing that he's able to play and advertise himself in the window. Who knows. Either way, he's hard working.

Can imagine John's got little chance of playing here. On the bench with Randell favoured in front of him. Unless we're looking at Randell as a wide man replacing Shoretire, I can't see John getting played.

I'd rather have John there than Jones out of position. Maybe it's an indicator of nail in John's coffin when it comes to his Bolton career.

Aye, Dec John on bench! Appreciate Randy is not up to speed yet, but surely Dec John is a better bet.

Yes, couldn't we have sold Aimson tomorrow?

What a goal from Morley!
