Santos is just going through the motions. He’s ambling around half arsed. fecking best centre back in the league my arse. Christmas is coming he can have his Amazon job back for me.
Really struggle to see how you can pin this on Santos.
Presumably because he was the closest defender to their goalscorer.
Santos is playing ok in my opinion. Not had much to do.

Our heatmap says it all, all our play is in our own half, only thing in their half we've had is on the right where its inevitably dying out.

https://www.whoscored.com/Matches/18273 ... l#heatmaps

I don't think it's down to lack of effort from some of the lads. It's just we've had some bad moments. The players are working hard, but the system isn't getting the ball forward.

Our strikers look to be running quite a bit to no end product.

Time to go Evatt. Three up top is not working. We'd have the same end product with one up top as it stands. Pad out the midfield for a change.

Could be worse. We could be actually trying and playing like this. At least the players aren’t putting a shift in. That is something. It means there is a chance for improvement.

Why on earth would you put a half fit Thomason straight into a midfield two with Sheehan?

I’m not pinning it on santos. What feck* me off is hes got an easy afternoon - he’s got one striker, one job. He’s failed to pick him up from a routine cross. Thomason and Sheehan are being asked to do the work of 3 because we have to carry Santos as this so called spare centre half who can do all the defending and free up jones and Johnston to attack (which they haven’t bothered doing). Santos has one job and he’s failed at that today.

But is he to blame? No it’s the bloke who picks the team. He needs to take one of the smaller defenders off go 433 and try and play some of his so called football in their half to get the best out of our forwards, none of whom are a target man. He’s a fecking idiot if he can’t see that. Two wingbacks have created feck all. Two midfielders have been squeezed out. Ian Evatt is a useless c*nt.

Why on earth would you put a poor Arfield on the bench over a keeper given the injury prone Baxter, and the 7 spaces on the bench?

He needs to be gone about 30 seconds after the final whistle of this. Club needs a reset and a new man to hopefully inject some intent into our playing style. Absolutely dire. F**k off

Thomason needs subbing before he’s sent off.
