Please give Forrester a short-pass option, lads.

Weirly quiet atmosphere

Finding this very promising. The final ball not quite there yet though.

This opposition keeper is living up to his name

Referee onto the time wasting however he does like his whistle.

2 minutes injury time?
That's a joke.

Yeah, perhaps a bit nervous.
It feels like we really need a goal to get the new era going.

It’s been a very pleasing performance minus the lack of quality and composure in and around their box.
Randall and McAtee could do with offering more goal threat and quality in these areas for what we paid for them both.
The system is great and already we’ve played a totally different tempo and had width. What’s width? I can’t remember. But it’s refreshing.
Nobody is playing poorly and you can see at times we are working out the shape as we go a bit. But to be expected.
We do just without Collins look worryingly inert in the final third.

McAtee—I know isn’t really a solo striker, but—not staying central and high enough for me when we’re out wide. Cogz having a fabulous game; Schön looking a bit clumsy in possession that half. Just thought of Dapo in a game such as this. Cheers. Son’s crying.

Yeah, you'd probably have it down as inauspiscious at the moment...BWFC_Insane wrote: ↑Sat Feb 08, 2025 3:54 pmIt’s been a very pleasing performance minus the lack of quality and composure in and around their box.

To DSBs point you want to try and give Forrester a pass out. It's an area that often goes "unrecorded" but and area I think we struggle at. Sort of like "I'm marked, so I don't need to do much"

We definitely could do with more of a focal point up front.

Infuriating that Crawley are timewasting to that extent. Ref should've had one of them booked at least (thinking the GK).
McAtee too deep. He can affect games, but I think he'll struggle as one up top.

Could be a tactic because TBF to them Sheehan and Morley do tend to want the ball - could be that we draw opponents to them then try to spring the ball forward, but as much as I love Will Forrester he can't pass waterWorthy4England wrote: ↑Sat Feb 08, 2025 3:59 pmTo DSBs point you want to try and give Forrester a pass out. Intriguingly, the Mighty Flanners at the ground is very unimpressed with a formation that he says we can't play
I think we've been alright tee-to-green but our worst two performances are at 9 and 10. Correlation or causation?
Dare I say this formation would benefit from Vic up top, and maybe even Lolos at 10?

Time to switch the wingers round. Would remind me of the days we did it in games with Stelios and Diouf.
