Nixon in the Mirror:
BOLTON boss Owen Coyle is making a move to take Bayern Munich’s teen sensation David Alaba on loan. The 19-year-old Austria international plays on the left of midfield or wide and is one of the German club’s best prospects.

In Bayern's first team under Louis van Gaal, he has often played as a left back, as well as his usual left or central midfield position ..... At the age of just 19, Alaba won the prestigious vote for Austrian Footballer of the Year in 2011. .
A left back too !! Fck.
Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

Alan Nixon said we have asked about David Alaba, but Bayern have said he is not available at the moment. Why bother putting that in the paper!

Its another name they can put in the Bolton news day after deadline day i say that we tryed to sign him too.

He's disproving BWFC_i's notion that Stoke actually play half decent, on the ground football, by highlighting the fact that when Peter Crouch is on the pitch, there's a remarkable amount of long balls played.

Austrian Footballer of The Year = World's Tallest Dwarf.

Still, he might be good.

QUICK SOMEONE START THE CAR UP!!!!

An Alan Nixon exclusive.

http://www.people.co.uk/sport/football/ ... -23710893/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
West Ham boss Sam Allardyce is ready to raid his old club Bolton Wanderers for giant centre-half Zat Knight.

Allardyce would like Knight to join his club’s promotion push but could wait until the 31-year-old is a free agent this summer. Knight has been a regular for Bolton but is one of many at the club coming to the end of their current deals.

Allardyce can offer the 6ft 7in beanpole a long-term contract if Bolton are willing to sell – or put a package together to bring the player in at the end of the season.

Sell?! We'll pay!

Seriously though, we don't have enough depth at the back, even with Ream coming in, to get rid now.

If a left back comes in and frees Ricketts up to play central we do.You need someone with a bit of pace to play in a high line back four and a keeper who is quick off his line.Jussi was good at that and hopefully Bogdan will learn but Knight/Wheater leaves us easily exposed by pace. Ream ,from what the american fella was saying isnt all that fast so Ricketts in the middle may be our best option if we have a competent left back available.

According to Coyle, Ream achieved the fastest sprint time of any player since he's been manager...
