If carlsberg did transfer threads.....This would be it!

He's very sensitive, gets easily excited and spits when the pressure gets too much.

Report from LoVS of possible signing.
If he does sign a CB, surely with money so tight, it means one of Ream, Wheater, Dervite or Baptiste will be moving on?

He's represented Spain at every level from U16 - U21
You would hope Dervite would be moved on because for all but a tiny bit of the season he was utter shite.

I tend to agree with DSB that it's certainly strange we're pursuing players in areas we have a surplus in yet not targeting positions we absolutely need to strengthen, but if the right person comes up and it's in the budget we should go for them. It's not like we're overburdened with quality at the back...

How anyone can look at that list of four and jump and Dervite is beyond me.

Maybe he needs to give away penalties three weeks in a row then go on loan.

Or be absolute wank for two years before improving to just shit for the next 18 months.

Folk either warm to someone or not, once the mind's made up we see what we want to see.

You also said Lee was wank and Trotter was good so make of that what you will!

And Pratters had a good two months. I'm hoping he can pick up where he left off but he was gash for three years.

Chris Maguire - now leaving Sheff. Wed on a free... scottish international winger - also sometimes plays up top...

allegedly we are interested and so are Leeds - and we've nipped in first - having already talked to him (and offered him a large bag of Pickled Onion Monster Munch and a bumper box of felt pens)

I've just checked. Half the felt tip pens are missing and the Monster Munch are out of date.

I can't see this happening as Leeds have just bought Chris Wood for around £3.5m and seem to be loaded.

I see Eidur has signed for that Chinese club. That must be 3 for and about 25 against Plymouth

Other than giving Plymouth credit where it's due on this one, I'm not that fussed. Eidur hardly set the place alight last season, to the extent that if he was on anything like comparatively serious money, I'd look to spend it elsewhere, same with Heskey. Didn't do enough to make a significant difference, although both might have helped steady the sinking ship.

Yeah. Why would we want Eidur when Owen Garvan's available :hang:

Eidur's Chinese contract only runs until the end of November, so potentially he could be back with us for Christmas, if indeed we think we need him. I'm unconvinced, although I'd love to hear Dave Whelans thoughts on this.....

I love Ivan Campo. I just fckg do.
