It is isn't it. I had one when I lived at home with my mum and dad but now I own my own house and clearly the need for a radio has never arisen. Until now!

I have an old ipod docking station somewhere that might have a radio actually. Might dig it out but then saying that, I'm fairly sure I can't get GMR/Tower out ere in't sticks.

maybe it's a generational thing - if i was forced to choose between having a telly and having a radio - I think I'd have the radio... I have a radio in pretty much every room of the house...

I'm with you Bish. I listen to the radio much more than I watch TV. The only thing is I call mine a wireless just to annoy people and it sounds better.
